  1. The russian warship Poltava is being built. http://instagram.com/poltavawarship
  2. I believe that slave ships should be present in the game, maybe later on developing some maps in african coasts. This one looks very nice, it could be used as a cargo ship too in the game. http://www.modelships.de/Verkaufte_Schiffe/Aurore_Ferlemann/Aurore_I_eng.htm Any other slave ships anyone? Opinions?
  3. I would like to see a brief text of every ship's history like in world of warships. Specifications of that ship like length beam ,guns, displacement (etc). Maybe also rating for the ships characteristics could be present too. Example: Manoeuvrability:80/100 Firepower: 40/100 Armour strength: 45/100.

  6. Was Santisima Trinidad's paint scheme unique and normally not used? Do you guys know another ship with that paint scheme?

  8. I'm very curious regarding this topic. I would like to know what were the types of paint schemes usually used in waships by different nations from the 17th and 18th century. Does anyone know the paint scheme victory had before adopting the yellow and black bumble bee paint scheme. If you have some knowledge regarding this topic or found some interesting articles please leave a reply.
  9. Paint schemes on ships throughout history.

  11. Does anyone know this beautiful Danish ship. I can't identify it. HELP! Hehe Image: http://www.pb-modelisme.com/boats/image/155_Norske_Love_142.jpg
  12. This is just a vague idea and I put two different details
  13. What about making your own ship mixing up and selecting different features from thousands of options. For example start out with the lenth of the keel and choose the type of bow you want to make. Put some limits to the choices so the ship doesn't look bad and disproportionate. For example choose the shape of the stern and stern galleys from hundreds of different choices and choose decorations ornaments and colours from loads of options. Make sure that every ship can be unique. Do you guys get the big picture? It sounds amazing to me if it could happen . Let me know what you think about it.
  14. •When ships are demasted ,masts are still afloat or can still be partially attached to ship. •Floating broken bits shot off ships • crew transfer to other team members when sinking. •When a ship is hit in tge game the guns seem to have the same colour as wood when hit that doesn't look good. •Sails burn differently than wood •Glass at stern can shatter •ships can have multiple explosions •Amount of crew dead and injured shown •percent crew shown •building a ship by selecting different features. A lot of different features for example choosing stern type between 50 chioces and baloconies stern galleys and every single detail. That would be amazing. Keep the paint schemes uniform and normal though. ( no pink ????)
  15. It was my first time using this and now i know more about how the forum works. Originally I wanted to open a page on first rates so I put that random 1st rate pic, I started out with the first ship and I then decided to only do the thread on that one ship. I then just posted it ignoring the fact that I had put that pic of Duke of Wellington. I waited for the approval of the ship so I could post the plans but as you can see the admin said that the ship's date does not meet the game's criteria. Ask some questions and be nice before talking shit whoever u are. Damn I just got on this forum I'm trying to help and people are already attacking me.
  16. Please note these plans are printed in Italian only. Translations of the words are available here: http://modellers-workshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Plans-translations-ROYAL-WILLIAM.pdf Hms Royal William Launched in 1719 at Portmouth. In 1782 Royal William took part in the navy operations which led to Gibraltar’s liberation. Also in that same year, the ship was involved in the salvage attempt of Royal George, which overturned in Spithead causing the death of 900 persons. In the end it was assigned as anchor-watch at Portsmouth, until 1813 , then demolished. Its survival for almost a century compares strongly with the typical six-year life span of so many other ships. http://modellers-workshop.com/euromodel-66006-hms-royal-william-18th-century-first-rate-100-gun-ship-172-scale-wood-ship-kit-plans/ You have to buy the plans, for the rest i think that the plans should have every single detail http://collections.rmg.co.uk/collections/objects/66183.html http://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:HMS_Royal_William_(1719).jpg There's basically everithing here Width: 12.80 m. Crew: 730 Draft: 6.10 m. Displacement: 1600 tons Armament : First battery: 34 guns of 32 inches Second battery: 28 guns of 24 inches Third battery: 18 guns of 8 inches Read more: http://www.euromodel-ship.com/eng/royal-william.html#ixzz3bLE7glyz xc TURNS OUT The Royal William was originally the H.M.S. Prince, refitted in 1692.
