Mittlerweile gibt es einge Clans/Guilden und die meisten nehmen neue Mitglieder auf und helfen ihnen aus, schau mal durch diesen Forumsabschnitt: http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/forum/39-guilds-clans-and-trading-companies/ Wenn du einen reine Deutsch Sprachigen Clans suchst ist HRE bei den Schweden wohl der größe auf dem Server. Mit passablen English Kenntnissen gibt natürlich deutlich mehr Optionen, besonders empfehlens Wert ist da aus meiner Sicht DAS bei den Niederländern (freundliche und hilfsbereite Gruppe). Aber auch wir bei DWIS (danmark-norge) suchen immer nach neuen und aktiven Spielen und helfen grade am Anfang mit Rat und Schiffen aus. In letzter Zeit hatten wir auch reichlich Action und Spaß dank der neuen Hafengefechte, aber wie sich die Poltik auf dem Server mit mehr Spieler entwicklen wird kann jetzt natürlich keiner sagen.
  3. It is not realy a bug. there are modules that can give you a moral boost: grog ration and sword fighting hand book as well as ships that have a boost to moral: pirate frigate and i think the privateer as well.
  4. I think the main reason there is no distance based system, is that constant distance checks between multible objects are expensive caluations that would produce alot of sever load. But maybe instead of a fix timer that resets every time and flexible timer that increase the more damage you take could work better. Probably best linked to the proportional dmg to correlating hit pool of the ship (hull, crew or sails/mast). Could also help keeping ship that got heavly dmg in a big fight from from jumping out of battle while being shielded by allies. Not quite sure which number would be needed here, but keeping some one tagged with chaser guns will hunting him down still needs to work for similar sized ships, so two/four bow chaser hitting every like 50% of their shots (through multiple sails) should be enought to keep some one in battle. But cases where you only get a few no pen hit at max range or smaller ships doing relatively low dmg should allows the timer to run out between the broadside reloads.

Wenn du halbweg passables English sprichst kann ich dir auch die Niederländer empfehlen die haben ein sehr freundlich Atmospähre und helfen neuen Spielern gerne aus und haben in sehr ruhige AI-Farming Gegend. Wenn dir ein wenig Aufregung und mehr oder weniger langweiligs port flippen zwischen RUS (für Dänmark spielende Russen) und SLRN(GB)/RAE(Spanien) nichts ausmacht, kannst du auch bei uns Dänen (DWIS) anfangen. Ich und Daniboy helfen unseren neuen da auch mit Schiffen und Tipps usw aus.

    What are you TDA guys up to atm anyways? Since the SLRN and RAE guys all hang around puerto rico trying to fight with RUS guys and flipp the danish ports at night after the Russians go to bed.

  11. Yes with live oak build strenght and planking you can get a santisima up to 20k hp on the sides vs 14k on a teak one without build stenght. That is 42% more hp per side (with a better pen protecetion). On top of that you get also a bit more hp back from the hull repair.

  13. Ich spiel recht häufig mit meinem Notebook (I7 und GT650m) mit mittleren Grafikeinstellung und brauchbaren FPS. Aber es häng natürlich immer von der von deiner Hardware ab, ich glaube Shader 5 muss mindesten sein. Die Welt ausserhalb der Schlachten seit dem letzten Patch großartig aus und es sind jetzt auch die ersten Ansetze für eine dynamisches Wettersystem drin. Schau dir mal Youngs Video an da siehts du in etwa wie die OW aussieht und einwenig auch das Gameplay dort: http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/614-naval-action-on-youtube/page-33 Wobei es für einen Aussenstehenden vielleicht nicht ganz so spannend aussieht wie die Schlachten. Übriges muss man als Deutscher nicht umbedingt für die Schweden segeln, ich selbst und Daniboy sond z.B. für die Dänen unterwegs und Mirones ist mit ein paar Freunden dabei einen spanisch Clan aufzubauen. Mit halbwegs verständlichem English kann man eh in den meisten Nationen gut unterkommen (insbesondere die Niederländer sind sehr offen und freundlich).

  15. Interessting that you need less labour hours for the pavel then for the 3th rate / bellona. Which ship did you craft to get the blueprint by the way? 3th rate?

Also i see using duping ships as a exploit, i don't belief it justify wipe, after all farming pavels yield approximately the same amount of gold, exp and resources you will get from farming AI 74 fleets, being only a bit easier, also gold and exp are not really a big issue atm (i made more then 2m gold by crafting ships befor i even knew about that duplication thing). The biggest problem with the duplicating is, it makes it difficult to judge if the recipe drop rates and production rates for the big ships work with the current amount of players / crafters.
  18. I have to confess against my own better jugment i did use this expoited few times yesterday. Get getting carried away by the wish to get a pavel recipe and the feeling of everybody is using it so i can do as well. But it is most definitely a game breaking event, in multiple ways and i wish now i hadn't taken part i exploiting it. First thing it is way to easy to abuse, you just need to player and one ship you want too duplicat. It takes you just like 5-7 min to capture the ship, since at the current meta its so easy to capture a same size AI ship. Here i think is the fault of the admins argument about it not being a exploit, since it is not a fight but just farming AI ships. With it being farming AI it becomes economy breaking: free gold, free parts and free recipes. It also breaks game progression, since you can farm exp at a much high rate then you ever could if you had to look for good fleets in ow. I will also masks the problem with the recipe drops and distribution since it massivly boost your chances to get recipes. I think the dev should disable reinforcment till they actually fix it, since its abuse got out of hand.
  19. You can get both a note and a recipe at the same time, also it only hapend once to me so far.
  20. How about we have on key to switch the fire modes, like between random, rolling, deckwise or what ever mode maybe added. And have a diffrent key to switch between front and back rolling. Atm you miss more shoots from being in the wrong fire mode then you might get hits from having the random mode there with the two rolling fire modes.
  21. i have to say i have a bad feeling if progresion is going to be bound to sailing/killing specific ships, that could prevent casual players from leveling up and promoted rigged battles. It might be better to have condition based on the ship rates. Like: Sink ten 5th rated ships while commanding a 5 th rated ship (0/10).
