No option to get a compass on the map as far as now. Not needed. Open the map (M) Locate yourself Locate your destination Infer a direction (e.g. North-West) Close your map (M) Head in that direction (NW) with your OW compass

Ok. - Boudrot mentionne 26+6 canons pour l'Hermione. - Sur la photo de l'Hermione du jeu, je vois 30+16 (les nombres entourés d'un cercle). Je trouvais l'écart a priori important. Voilou.

La Concorde avait 30 canons + 16 sur les gaillards, soit 46 canons ? Ah, bon.

Bon alors je me lance pour ma toute première question : Est-ce les 15+8 canons par bordée, soit 23 x 2 = 46 canons pour l'Hermione du jeu que l'on voit sur l'image, c'est aussi pour le serveur test ? L'Hermione devrait avoir (26 x 12 livres + 6 x 6 livres) soit 32 canons, non ? (selon Boudriot) Je vois 15 sabords sur le modèle de NA. Or, j'ai l'impression que les devs ont tendance à remplir tous les sabords avec un canon... J'espère que ce sera 32, histoire de remplir avec la Diana l'espace des frégates de 30 à 38 canons.

What makes believe it's a race or there's a (short) ticking-clock ?

Ideal game would be : one server where you could choose at port which kind of fight(s) you want during your next sea trip by box ticking : PvE (bots attacking) and/or PvP with AI fleet and/or pure PvPn with or without ganking and/or duels...

In fact, one might come to think this feature really needs its first "#YESFLEET" or "I LOVE U" thread

Sounds like something that happened to me. Nothing to do with the patch but with a small software/program running that hog your internet. Try and close unused softwares while playing NA. There are also means to check which software hog your internet. Mine was Nvidia Geforce Experience. There's a thread about that on NA forums.
