EvE Online has a very useful standing and organization system. Individuals, Corporations (clans) and Alliances can set standings towards other Individuals, corps and Alliances. Its a very simple system but works just fine. The different standigs shows up with different colors in the game so the moment you see somebody you know who are you dealing with. For example if you set a Corp (clan) +5, every single member of that corp will shows up light blue. It is a very simple way to manage your relations. Corporations (clans) can also organize themselves into alliances. It's a built-in feature and the founder corp will becomes the executor corp. Its CEO and directors will be able to set standings for the entire Alliance. The changes are instant, so you can declare temporary truce with a former enemy in order to cooperate in a particular fight. +10 - Very Friendly (allies and stuff) + 5 - Friendly (temporary blues for operations/battles) 0 - Neutrals -5 - bad guys -10 - very bad guys
