No, we are not acting as a superpower, we act like a faction that needs ports the same way your faction does. Is this so dificult to understand?
But because you always want to take control of as much ports as you can, we don't have the ports we need, even when we were allies.
Then not only are you been deceived by your own 'patriots' who have now gone Pirate... but you deceive yourself.
The negotiations we had, we offered you a secure power base, based on current borders and our full support! You threw in back at us, demanded 16 Ports and a new front opened against the Dutch. The next day you attacked us and laughed while you did it.....
Spain is the executioner of its own destiny, blame no other.

The Swedish and French didn't make demands on the Danes! The 'Russian' Danes from day one attacked them, we on the other hand especially the SLRN only ever supported Spain. You repaid us with treachery!
You first attack us when you thought our backs turned, you then demand ports from us for peace... always demanding, and giving nothing. Allies you say, alliances are a two way street and not a one way Calle!
Whats more ironic is the very same Spanish patriots, who negotiated for you, demanded from us have now left you in the dirt having gone Pirate.... Nice, and you still insist on British aggression.

The Spanish have suffered from the attitude of the Caribbean and ports within are theirs by right... they have continually neglected the fact that in OW the nation's move on and port owner is fluid!
They come to negotiations only with demands based on old history and arrogance. "We want, we must have!" the standard phrases and always from a position of weakness and disunity. You pushed and pushed and have been punished for your lack of situational awareness and stubbornness.
You have like the Swedish and French the opportunity the rebuild, and build bridges but yet you insist still on sticking to the old world order and past mistakes. Unlike Sweden and France, you chose this war, you threatened and demanded and now have paid the ultimate price.
..... Spain has its pride, but when pride is destructive it's time to reflect and change!
I have a special affection for Spain and its people, so believe me when I say, Britain will listen and together we can work on Peace!

That being said, Proud British Empire went on to harass the Spanish, while giving up their possessions in the East. No time fighting the small fries, when the might of Spain is there to challenge the Brit!

Some days ago a Pirate Victory was set upon by the dastardly British and sank strongly out gunned and out numbered. There was much jollyment amongst the British on that day and much boasting of a great accomplishment.
Today, the Pirates returned for vengeance!
At the battle of Jereme, with 3rd Rates alone.. while HUGELY out gunned, The Pirate Nation struck back and sunk 4 British VICTORIES!

Your strongest clan moving down south was a mistake they should have stayed near your capital at the start and then slowly moved.

Ships flipped all the time, if I remember in EA. Still a dodgy mechanic imo especially when the Pirate rams you and flips himself.

We didnt declared war on you. We believed that you knew that we were going to reconquer those ports back to us to set our timers.
We didnt have any kind of treaty with Denmark nor the Pirates.
Does Spain have any cohesion when it comes to national policies? Or is it just a Spanish free for all?
