The Spanish will fight on (credit to them - are you watching France) and the British will fight everyone (even more credit to them).

hmm, well... Charles Caldwell you may have realized that there were a lot of battles in Front of Port Morant and your Capital, yesterday. I remember one, where we were in with like 6 VIE members and a bit of AI to even the numbers against the Brits including you. You, Charles Caldwell have been one of the first to leave the battle and let let your fellow captains suffer. One of the british guys in a Snow excelled in bravery, though.... but got sunk as well.

Yep I left as clearly I wasn't needed... Im not too keen of overkill or a waste of resources and the fight looked roughly even.
So I left and joined a smaller battle. I helped sink a Dane in that too. All credit to him also (name escapes me) he fought bravely in that despite his friends leaving him outnumbered and alone. Nice I thought!

Lies you may have been at PR, but the Danish 3rd rates that popped out of Port Morant were clearly not..... I sat there, issued the challenge and no one answered.
Can you only war with words now?
BTW I was outside Port Morant, surely your 'Alt' GB players told you that?

A squadron of The Decatur Armada was operating off the northerm coast of Cuba when it intercepted a Pirate 3rd Rate ship that was likely on its way to participate in the Pirate assault against the British port of Corrientes.
I think Prater hit the nail on the head when he said, "A simple thank you would be nice."

My attitude has always been the same... Lets talk!
Even now I speak to both sides (in PMs) however having sat in meetings with your diplomats it's been a difficult time. Thankfully those diplomates have shown their true loyalty and have left the Spanish nation.
And sir I fear nothing!

Perhaps our view of what a Pirate should be is different to yours? How about you let us Pirates decide how to play instead of trying to get Devs to change the rules to suit you better?

I dont blame the all the Spanish people for one or a few men's crimes... however nor should the Spanish against us.

Fighting war is defending your ports (by PB or screening), not ganking somebody with free to lose ships and then boasting about it on forums.
P.S. I am playing on Dutch side, not French.
This gets better, a Dutchman who played a part in the downfall of France, lecturing the Brits on bravery against her. France were turning the screw on you in game, but your Danish allies and yourselves put France to the sword in one night.
You clearly can write this stuff.

Charles you state how much you admire and love Spain in one post and then insult them in the very next.
I've never insulted the Spanish...I might not have agreed with them, but I've never insulted them.
The word Pirate is worth more due to its threat, not respect. Or unless you prove my point to the devs that the Pirate players in game are merely another nation with benefits.
Perhaps you've all grown soft and feel like being all respectful and magnanimous. Very unPirate like!

I have always been respectful to Spain (not always agreed on things)... however receiving a PM prior to the Spanish declaration of war from the Spanish which simply said!
"Hijo de Puta!"
For me shows a level of immaturity not seen before and brings great shame on the Spanish nation in game.

I really respect The Great Britain who did marvellous thing -Sir Winston Churchill is not my favorite Historical Figure for no reason- and I wished I'd be Born in England.
But when I see things in this forum and ingame.
I am deeply saddened by how low some of you can get.
News Flash: The British Nation of NA are not exclusively British sir, we like other in game nations are multi national.

Let's salute to this "brave" british captains, who are aftraid to leave port in actual valued ship.
I'm not sure this is cricket old boy coming from a Frenchy or Franco bed fellow... lectures on being brave!?! I mean didn't France fold and hoist the White flag in one weekend against the Danes?
The British are now fighting Spain, France, Pirates and The Russians (Danes).. and have done and will do for weeks, months if we have to.
So no more lecture on bravery please.
We'll fight on, and on and on....

Sorry but I would have responded at length but knowing you fled the Spanish cause to go Pirate, I knew then the measure of the man.....
Now you may flower it up as fighting on, but the sad fact is when the going got tough, you and others clearly got going....... Where? Over to the easiest option.
I love the Spanish people, in my case 'literally' so I admire their proud and but sometimes stubborn nature. Its just a shame that people who flew their banner can walk away so easily when their backs were against the wall. Spain doesn't need men like you, what they do need is the very men staying and fighting for the colours NOW! These will be the Spanish of the future, not the fairweather friends you Pirate Turncoats pretend to be.
There will be peace, it will come... perhaps not today, tomorrow or next week.... but it will come!

In tatters on the floor, where several attempts at peace were thrown by the Spanish diplomats. Just ask the US about the Spanish format of negotiations.

I admire the Spanish people for their will to fight on... if only the French showed half the spirit.
Shame this unity wasn't here months & weeks ago.... perhaps Spain unified would've been a force to be reckoned with.

On a personal note and unrelated to the GB council, I feel it's not the place of the 'Russian' French to talk of reputation and honour... especially from the very nation that folded and surrendered in a weekend, and now with the backing of their paymaster, claims to be the righteous and victorious French!
Respect is a two way process and though I personally held the French in the highest, your actions since your occupation and been nothing but cowardly and weak. To now place yourselves on a pedestal as 'moral guardians' is an insult the the word Honour!
Sir, look to the Spanish and the Free French clans as an example of integrity and true fighting spirit!
