  1. Don’t know why they would ever remove it, many games have a lobby duel room where u Don’t lose anything but are still able to practice to get better and learn from the veterans.
  2. Ewww that system was horrible also, they could just make life much easier and get more people out there having fun, kinda like POTBS just not as much off branches on items that over complicate it.

I think is crafting quantities, labor etc was reduced and the actual original ships costing less then maybe we would see more of the original ships getting used more, i gather the crafters having time to pvp and farm instead of mundane time consuming back and forth hauling will make them enjoy the game more, even mods and books should be cheaper and easier to come by, we want people out there having fun in this game not spending 100’s of hours grinding and getting their hard worked stuff getting trashed by DLC seasoned ships, the greed to push DLC and allowing people 24 hours to re-redeem didnt help the only other aspect in this game from the ship combat, there are multiple games that have their balance right and thrived, unfortunately this game never had the right balance to get the better reviews yet hence the need to get money for development somewhere to push the game work further. Oh and the RnG sucks in this game which makes the crafting suck when u get garbage, surely that could be a port upgrade thing, the sturdy, agile builds could be from ports instead of random, and slots requiring slightly more resources instead.

You have already taken it too far with the original build including Dane, Swede and even the US really, should have kept it simple and had just the main GB, France, Spain, Dutch then a pirate pop outta neutral ports with some build restrictions on rate ships as that isnt accurate for them to have SOL, but in all honesty the game population is no where near big enough to support the amount of nations we have, maybe if u had 20k players and a pop balance feature then it might be better but where the game is at is u have big nations and other nations having alliances with those nation making them even bigger so its just no need to have these extra nations, POTBS had far better examples on how a game should be structured, im pretty sure u devs used to play it, so take some more ideas from their research and apply it in better way if need be as that game worked well just this has far better combat but that game wins hands down on overall structured RvR, Crafting and Economy. But unfortunately u have gone too far and i fear removing nations now will hurt the already small player base of the game and those who have put in all the work to get where they are.

  6. I think the correct term is Wanted Noob Protector, well around capital zone to protect the vulnerable anyway 100BR should have smaller Fleets chase them off to so the 15 to 20 hour players dont get scared off all together from this game
  7. Yeah a battle log would be awesome to reflect on the statistics, the mystery is more amusing then anything, i got home from work after a sluggish start to the morning and was like where my baby, the song (Player - baby come back springs to mind) while trying to piece together the mystery

OK im putting this is as abit of a laugh and also to solve a mystery, so as per the title i had enough brewskis to completely forget lastnight and just logged on and noticed my Indef is missing, classic dude wheres my car situation, i honestly have no idea on what i did with it, its was a Blue Indef with Cag/ WO with an RnG cartegana Refit, last seen around yucatan maybe, if anyone has seen her let me know what happened lastnight :P

Why release now, how about some serious work into the crafting/ economy to make this game function better. its still hasn't got a key element to make this game sustainable to a fresh player base, if that's actually constructed well then maybe this game might have a hope in the future, i've been here since 2014 and after 5 years its been a big disappointment that the crafting/ economy still isn't a great working feature in this game and because of this that the rest of the game lacks purpose other then ship combat and port battles with no real meaning to the greater game.
  10. Development of infrasturcture should require bricks lumber etc to build and maintain, kinda like Port Royale series where a prosperous city and developing needed building materials to develop, food for thought.

We used to have a smaller map just in the Lesser Antillies, there was certainly plenty of player presence around but no room for new players to grind and become familiar with the map without the constant threat of being smashed. What the game lacks is a proper working economy that doesn't require so much of a time sink for many to get involved with, players should have easy access to customization/ upgrades at cheap costs to change their ship characteristics, the cheaper they are and easy to obtain the more likely players will go out and PvP because they feel competitive, if they lose then they should be able to buy the upgrades from their active ports cheap as there is a great supply and demand for the product creating competitive and cheap pricing to sell products. Its been quite some time since i have made a post about this game but it keeps going around in circles and never seems to understand on how to make the game work while reintroducing bad mechanics and systems that the majority hated before, Ship slots and limiting them in crafting, people hated it before yet here it is again, why not take look at what other games do well (POTBS) ship upgrades and builds even the economy then world infrastructure and prosperity to go one further like Port Royale/ or Grand Ages, so ports wanting to develop to become bigger need bricks, more food etc creating supply chain, hell its cant be considered copyright if the real world is the example on where you develop your ideas.

I have played this game on and off since 2014 and it feels like it hasn't made proper solid breakthroughs, Economy and proper economics and building should have been a big focus in support of a PvE experience, everyone knows that a proper PvE and Economy is what makes a better PvP player base, focusing on PvP is where this game fell apart as its didnt have the rest of the infrastructure to support that niche PvP aspect of the game and that's why the gave never really flourished to is potential, most of the population love to create and build empires and wealth, more time needs to be focused on the PvE, Crafting/ Economics of the game if this ever hopes to do a complete turn around and comeback to make the game more enjoyable to everyone, especially those who love the era but just the ship combat alone isn't enough to make them want to stay.

Rather then an Exceptional vessel or some random lotto/ overpowered PvP incentive it should be done like Economical bonuses, like increased extraction of resources, or those resources that are harder to obtain can be gathered in regions rather then single ports etc, the game lacks a real economic system to tie the PvP to the OW and lack of Real PvE that would improve the overall quality of this game, you have alook at many MMO's and they all have massive PvE content then the PvP thrives from the extensive roots created by the PvE community that supply the PvP players to go and enjoy their experiences in the games. Devs have yet to get a grasp on an actual system to actually make this game work properly and yet there are so many examples around us that could easily make this game better.

Personally i don't like the Knowledge slots and the whole rare book idea, Upgrades and Slots should be done more like POTBS had, 6 perma slots (2 x Sail Upgrades, 2 x Hull and 2 x Cannon) then 3 general slots that couldn't stack so we could customize and build the ships to the way it suited our needs, the upgrades we kept in the hull and lost with the ship if boarded or sunk, the upgrades were easy to craft and there were plenty around that it created a proper supply and demand system that stimulated the economy, there were no rare or hard to get mods and they were all obtainable through the crafting, or during the Admiralty command/ Ranking up missions, if it was done this way then there would be much more easily accessible modules people could quickly outfit their ships and get out and PvP much quicker rather then having to work far to long grinding up getting the stupid books, knowledge and sailing hours to try get resources for all the hard to get modules that cost a fortune, you want people out fighting and pvping maybe do things right and stop putting stupid restrictions on things so people can get to where they want quicker when outfitting their ships and start getting into more PvP and have a better chance of competing in battles because they have just as much access to modules and upgrades as anyone else!!!!!!

I said this when the 3 new nations were first introduced and thought that the developers had seriously lost the plot and continue to show their lack of understanding on what needs to happen to get this game back on track, 4 nations and a rogue pirate group would have been a good starting point and left the game like that till atleast you had a stable few thousand playing constantly during all timezones but that will never happen with the poor decisions being made and the lack of work being done to the areas of the game that need the most attention, POTBS is still far more enjoyable then this game atm, if only the nice ship combat could be combined with the amazing RvR and Economy of POTBS then this game would be truly something to behold but in still not convinced that this game will ever get any better without the serious work getting done!

How about don't worry about the RnG trims and regional ship bonuses as this is what people hated before and now its come back because the devs still don't grasp a proper concept of how a OW and functioning Economy should work, if they actually used that thing between their ears then maybe we could actually get some progress on the subject and stop resorting to these kind of stupid features!!!!

We never used to have PvP and RvR/ Victory marks and it still didnt stop the PvP and RvR, what we see now since the implementation of these marks is exploiting the system created with farming alts and deliberate port swapping and match fixing etc just to get their hands on those stronger items! I don't mind the idea of Victory marks to obtain 3rd - 1st rates and permits to limit and make them valuable but that system still hasn't been setup properly that doesn't allow exploiting port swapping etc

Well since 2014 the game has proven that focusing on just PvP and the systems that it has atm that it clearly has no idea on how to make an OW function with the rest of the world created, im all ears to how u think that PvE and what u think is a carebear mentality is wrong for the game, every MMO has massive PvE content world to support the smaller PvP world around it, yes the PvP is far more exciting then the PvE but its what creates the WORLD the PvP players work in. So far all we see is PvP and RvR exploiting the current systems as its part of the mechanics to do so, seriously if that's your attitude then it clearly shows that you show just as much lack of understanding on how MMO and Sandboxes should work, so if u could refrain from commenting and trying to add you lack of productive ideas on how you think that the current broken systems are good for the game then ur best to not reply!!!!
  21. Remove the PvP and Victory marks from the game then maybe we might reduce the amount of players cheating the current systems available to them!!!! Yet again with the current system players seem fit to use their alt accounts to farm these current marks, when you start segregating the community into groups and in this case marks players will always find the easiest means to get them, by removing the marks system for PvP and Victory then we wont have the current problem of Alt Farming and port swapping as we see already to gain them to buy the exclusive mods and garbage we have in admiralty atm, just convert everything back to combat marks then every player has the same opportunity to gain the marks to get the same items from admiralty and there will be no means of exploiting to gain advantage over the system!!!! Why should PvP and RvR players get more rewards? their doing the nation duty yet some are still exploiting the same system to gain the greater rewards and bypassing the previous systems to get their ships etc!!! Removing the PvP and VM it will eliminate exploiting as everyone is on the same playing field with no real advantage over the rest of the population, If the only advantages we had in game were economic advantages then controlling ports as i've suggesting before like % Iron extractions, % Teak and so on from capitals and territory then it would make RvR more of a feature that nations want resources and control over those resources it would make it harder for exploiting as its only benefiting players that are involved in the actual OW side of things which is what this game should be about!!!! I seen a system in Heroes and Generals about capitals and map restarts that involved map control and underdog bonuses for nations that had lesser populations maybe that could be a thing looked into?
  22. Yeah i have screenshots of this which seems far to suspect for my liking! Even investigate the James Bond 007 and CaptainLevi down at Aves as that seems strange also!

Had an interesting encounter the other day, alittle embarrassing to lads who were working on demasting this 1 Ingermanland vsing 8 frigates all targeting his sails/ masts and yet the Ingermanland didn't lose a single mast through the whole encounter while with every broadside the ingermanland had what seemed like perfect aimbot on each frigates masts at any distance and all it took was 1 broadside to demast 1 frigate at a time, it literally makes player wonder why they even bother with PvP at all when they experience these kind of things let alone grinding to unlock the mods to be competitive in PvP, something needs to change because this game has serious issues that need addressing to make the game more enjoyable and less exploitable/ mechanic or RnG based luck to give players a greater advantage! Plus i remember the days when i used to single shot and target mast manually to demast them back when skill was a thing in this game not what mod you had to give you advantages, we need mods just they need to be done right to begin with like most things in this game!
  24. We have been through RnG before and it was terrible then and its terrible now, wish the devs would do the proper work to fix this game instead of wasting time on the same crap we never liked the first time!

Seriously are the devs going back to RNG well they may aswell sell the game if they are that dumb to go back to stupid RNG crafting, seriously how can they not understand a proper economic system to build in game, the eco system is where the game falls down and doesnt work properly to make the rest of the OW work together and mean something, you have already showed your lack of understanding by making PvP marks that bypass the crafting system in getting ships straight away and avoid any crafting mechanic, far out after what over 3 years i thought u would have got the hint by now that the way you do things is what is exactly what is keeping this game from going further!!!!!!!!
