  1. Will have to start playing on a set difficulty yet to play on anything but random should be interesting, looking forward to it!
  2. Haha voted for everything apart from limited ammo, just feel how the game is at the moment this feature wouldn't work and would leave troops doing nothing for entire battles as charges tend to fail (which is good realism)
  3. If the case is just enemies are in the proximity I find the delayed function kinda pointless as 90% the time they will be. I like the length of battles with the extra time from them being delayed and find the point of the function a bit iffy, I'm not sure whether I like it or not. On the point of VPS I think they should stay although there could be a game play mode aka "realistic, ironman" (whatever you want to call it where they are taken out of the equation. I think the points system needs tweaking but I have no complaints for it at this early stage. Do enjoy this game, do find it a bit easy and as long as you keep telling your guys to attack you can't lose although as someone posted today I always play on random so may never played against the hardest difficulty.
  4. I think having a indicator is a great idea and maybe an indicator which signals everything is improving or a flashing that says they're resting. As I find it difficult to know when units are gaining these stats and honestly they never seem to re cooperate very well at all. I find as soon as they retreat I send them back into the frey and basically spam this till the battle is over.
  5. I find the battle delayed function rather strange in the fact that I basically always have my battles delayed. It also seems to happen when points aren't being contested and people aren't charging. What I would like to know is. Once they've finished contesting or charging how long after does it take for the battle to end? How do I know if a point is being contested? I know it sometimes says but most of the time it seems that a point is being "contested" even if I have it fully under control. Any info would be great thanks!
  6. Oh and also is there a scoreboard or anything like that planning on being implemented. As it would be nice to be able to see scores against different ai styles and such.
  7. I think they're a minor concern at the moment. When playing as the union I felt my skirmishers and cav weren't great against the enemy and had to put them to good use flanking and hit and run like their purpose. I felt they were very balanced. When playing as the confederates they were an annoyance as some skirmishers units did take a hell of a beating and there retreating all the way to the edge of the battlefield then coming round behind me is annoying I agree.So far however I think they are a minor problem.
  8. I had similar issues on day 1 where I had captured two objectives and the union 2 and I had a major defeat. Although when I went to play the next day it said we had a victory so who knows!
  9. Hello everyone, Had some issues when playing as confederates with the union troops on the 2nd day of battle I believe. Some units just went into column formation and ran straight to the top of the map which was very annoying for me having them then behind my lines with no real casualties etc. This wasn't caused by them routing then returning they just simply went for yolos and ran straight. I was also winning quite epicly and had taken all the unions points then the game crashed which has happened to me twice now which is expected at this early stage. Had great fun so far just not looking forward to fighting this battle from the beginning when I was so close to the end! Done 1 union campaign and loved it so much I played right through to the end in one sitting and won with 66000 point to the confederates 13000! Cheers for the game so far keep up the good work.
