Stuck at Lt. general with 1 star for a while now...how do I get promoted?

People are quitting in the friggin game while I am decisively winning the game and I get no promotion nor does the opponent get a demotion? Is it a glitch, cause it seems some are really exploiting it???

Ok...what the hell...people keep dropping early in the game when I'm killing them, and I get no promotion even though it says I get the Victory...and the opponent doesn't get a demotion???? Glitch???? It seems they do it on purpose...on guy Codex keeps doing it!

I understand the delay, but it will eventually end. Sometimes, I just want to continue to put an a**whopping on or try longer.

Like an option to extend time or continue scenario/battle.
