  1. On the other hand, the persistence of the AI is really quite admirable. No matter how many times I keep turning enemy units around, they almost immediately recalculate their goals and go back to what they were doing.
  2. The map is hand-drawn and not 3D. So this isn't going to happen. At least, that's my understanding from prior dev comments.
  3. If you do visit, make sure you don't go during winter. I've been there in both late spring and in winter. The difference is dramatic and especially around Little Round Top (etc.) it's tough to get a sense of how dense the foliage was and how claustrophobic it must have seemed to those experiencing the battle. Thanksfully, my first visit was in May right after a hurricane. The air was scrubbed clean, the temperature was pleasant (unlike the heat during the actual battle), and the foliage was very thick in the trees. Several years later I brought my wife there in winter while all the trees were bare and visibility was much greater. It was impossible to "get a sense" of what it was like.
  4. Voted #1. But if you could merge the flags from #2 into #1 (replacing #1's flags but retaining the unit type designations), that would be ideal.
  5. EDIT: Nervermind, the video says to "right-click". . . but the patch notes (which I just re-read) specify a "CTRL-Right-click". Holding down CTRL was the missing piece of my puzzle. Thanks! --H Hi All, First, I'm incredibly excited about this game. It already looks great. A quick question though. . . According to the youtube video (1:00 to 1:15), I should be able to assign a formation to a selected group by CTRL-clicking various units, and then right clicking on the proposed destination (and then dragging the mouse to set orientation). When I select the units, and then right-click, there is no apparent effect and then if I drag, it just moves the map per usual (right-clicking and dragging usually does move the map). Am I missing something fundamental? Thanks! H
