  1. Heres an interesting on Brother. You might want to double check the VP awarded, feels like they are 10x more then they should be. Been trying out DIP for 1.6 and its been, interesting. Also had a battle in 1895 vs Spain that I sank 5 CAs... they never fired a shot and I got like 70,000 VP for that.
  2. Been really digging the MP so far! Have noticed that torps do not correctly aim if the enemy ship is going in reverse. The seem to aim where the ship would be going if it was moving forward at the same speed (ie if enemy is going backwards at 5knts the torps aim as if it was going forward at 5knts) Will post a screenshot when I see it happen next. Great stuff so far!

  4. Got rid of the save fine. Made sure it was AI designs only and tried a 1890 china start again. Same problem... Exited to main menu and loaded back in. Still being glichy... The "ships being built is the starting fleet I created... If you look at the 1st pic. the british have the chinese flag also. It seems to hang up whenever I finish completing ship construction. As in when they are finish being built, or are trying to finish building. Did you try reproducing this bug on your end? 1890 China start, normal, build own fleet, ai designs only.
  5. I dont have any shared designs and had the option for the new camp set to never use. It's using b2. What is the "custom battle save file" is that the "custom_battle_data.bin" file?
  6. Been having a lot of trouble using DIP for a 1.5.1.6 camp. It keeps bugging out when I start a new campaign. It will get stuck on building ships, I try the old work around with saving and reloading but it doesn't continue construction on some ships and it keeps displaying my nations flag as everyone's flag in the info log in the bottom left. It's made the campaign unplayable for me. Try starting a new camp as 1890 china build your own fleet quick and see if anyone else gets this or if its just me? Its the strangest thing.

  8. The AI can keep their junk, in 3 years of playing this game I have never seen 1 AI built ship I would want in my fleet. xD
  9. Is it just me or do ships seem to surrender 50-60% of the time now? I will sink ships sometimes (usually a BB vs a Cl) or something a kin to that but even then it seems like ships surrender more often then not.
  10. 1.6 has been interesting so far. I have played modded for so long it's hard for me to help with any bugs. However so far, the turning seems better (much less "drunken" sailing); the increased fire rates seem alright however ammo use just gets burned through, maybe increase the base ammo storage a bit? Loved this game since before it was on steam and its been great seeing the development. The only frustrating thing I've seen in 1.6 so far is the auto targeting seems to jump targets much more. Is there a way to over ride the auto targeting if I give a ship a manual target command? Something like always attack manually targeted ship unless line of sight is lost? With the above post, yes a lot of main towers and funnels seem to not fit their given hulls very well if not at all. Its my only complain with the ship building aspect of this game aside from the almost constant bow heavy ships when I try to make historic designs... Adding a couple casemates to the bow of a ship always makes it insanely bow heavy even if they are only 2 or 4 smaller 4" or 5" inch guns. For example attached I have a dreadnaught hull the only things on it are a triple 14 inch turret and then two 4 inch casemates. The turret is as far back as it can go and the 2 4" casemates are in the bow most positions. No armor on the ship at all aside from the minimum required 7" main belt armor, and no other items on the ship, so its purely the weight of the guns and base weights of the ship. There is still... somehow a 2.3% bow/fore offset.... How??? I know this is not a huge number (2.3%) I just find the vanilla ships always have a massive fore weight offset unless you make them very silly looking (funnels as far back as they can go sort of thing) or not putting any bow casemates on, or triple the bow extended armor compared to the fore extended. Any hope or an sms derfflinger hull or ijn ise 1917 hull? my 2 personal fave steel hull ships ^.^ Great stuff! Keep up the amazing work!
  11. Sounds like I would at that point be making 1/4th of a game for just a new hull at that point. Thanks for the response though! Really wish they would of just integrated some sort of easy modding (like how bethesda games have their creation / construction kits) but ah well, what can ya do.
  12. Is there anyway to import my own 3d models and textures into UAD? I've always wanted SMS Derfflinger and as built IJN Ise hulls and towers.

  14. Is it just me or does main gun accuracy seem really off in 1.8.3? Did a few 1910 and 1915 era custom battles. Built a 27,000 ton German BC with A,B,X,Y dual mark 2 12" guns. Would have a to hit chance/accuracy of maybe 20% or so at range. As soon as A turret fires the accuracy instantly keeps dropping to 0% making B, X and Y turrets have 0-2% accuracy during that same salvo. The gun recoil de-buff would spike anywhere from -80% to like -130% or -140% making only the 1st turret to fire have any chance to hit. I get gun recoil was a major thing but this just seems off to me. Seems to happen in both NAR and vanilla but I think its much worse in NAR due to the accuracy rebalancing?

  16. I would be willing to play test the gun rebalance + resize mod with the stability and formation additions. Can give whatever feedback that would be helpful.

  18. hello o Barão, had a sort of request for you. Would it be possible to have the information about how you were able to mod the ships Stability characteristics? Having much more reasonable bow, stern and pitch roll characteristics REALLY improves the ships and game overall. Makes Ai designs more useful and makes historic looking builds more possible and viable. I wanted to give this info to admiral snackbar for his mod. Was also hoping you could let him use the "all ships start battle in line of battle" instead of formations. This makes the battles in general 10 times better on its own. These 2 components of your mod make UAD 10 times more enjoyable and I believe all UAD mods and players would really apricate it being apart of both mods. Thanks again for your great work! I have been really enjoying playing both your mod and admiral snackbars.
  19. Is it possible to add the improved ship stability from the Naval Arms Race mod to your rebalance mod? It REALLY helps the AI out with having their ship designs be more useful as well as making more historic looking ships. (IE not being forced to stick funnels in the tail end of the ships all the time.) Been loving your rebalance mod tons of fun! Really hope you consider adding better ship stability, I bet a lot of people would enjoy something like that being apart of your mod too! Keep up the great work! Thanks for a great mod!
  20. Been LOVING this mod! Really makes the game 10 times better! The rebalancing of the de-buffs for bow and stern balancing makes historical and good looking ship builds 10 times easier! As well as improves the effectiveness of the AI ships not being 90% bow heavy. 111/10 amazing work O Barao! Any plans to remove subs? Or waiting to see if the UAD team dose it themselves with an option? Subs were a cool Idea for UAD but they are such a pain in the ass lol.

  22. Ships seem MUCH better holding battle lines and turning then reforming the battle line. Great stuff!
  23. Been messing with your mod with 1.3.1 noticed a lot of ships have very bad pitch and roll stats... Is this intentional? Here is a just basic DD hull, nothing changed or added and its pitch and roll is horrible. I get its early era (1910) I am playing, but this seems off? Also is it possible to make a version of this mod without subs?
