  1. Since you are asking, here are a few things I'd like to see: - more advanced damage models, I'd like to see masts topple over, superstructures collapse, funnels get blown overboard, etc. I realize this may be difficult to achieve but it would add a lot to the immersion of the game, I think - lingering smoke and more massive explosions when ammunition magazines blow up. i'd like to see ships that are sinking or severely damaged emit a lot of smoke and huge fires - the abillity of sinking ships to completely capsize - a pre-deployment phase where you can arrange the ships in your fleet into your own desired deivision and set up the initial deployment configuration of your fleet - the possibillity of building upgraded designs directly without having to copy them and save them under a new or the old name - the possibillity of loosing one or more guns on multi-gun turrets with one or more still remaining active - the ability to paint, or at least choose from a pre-determined set of camouflage schemes, your own ships! - the abillity to invade ungoverned territory or smaller states! Important for expanding your empire! But all in all, this is an amazing game that I enjoy sop much. Many, many thanks for your incredible effort and the best naval warfare game I have ever played!
  2. Also ships that were in port when the bug appeared can be sent out for action, but those that wewre at sea are evidently lost in some kind of world-wide Bermuda-triangle! No worries though, these things happen with betas and lets look at it this way; we get to spend more time playing! 🙂
  3. Ok, thanks for the info. I will make backups more often than I did, for sure! Not a big problem, anyways. Fortunately, my last "pristine" save was at a good time!
  4. The lost division problem seems to be partially solved but only insofar that ships launched from ports will now appear on the map. Those that were at sea when the bug appeared are still missing in my campaign. Is there a way to get them back as I don't want to loose four years of my current campaign?
  5. I seem to have lost contact with all my ships and submarines I sent to sea. As did the rest of the world. No icons for fleets appearing on map anymore.
  6. I have some issues with the economic system of the campaign. Twice I have played as Japan vs the World and twice now I have more or less to stop the campaign around 1917-18 (start date 1900) because I am bankrupt. I do not loose any transport ships, I've captured many regions close to Japan and I have far less ships than the major combatants. The problem is that while they can run their economy down the drain, use too much money to built enormous fleets and have admiral after admiral scaked and still go on, I cannot do the same. Also, I have noted that the other nations still build up enormous monetary reserves, even if they loose war after war, loose regions and build humongous fleets. In other words, it seems to me that it is impossible to beat the enemy economically. Furthermore, after I finally ran out of money for the first time in my last campaign, around May 1918, I did not get any replenishment of money. Is that a bug or intentional? I've won all my wars, I have not overbuilt the navy and I have decomissioned older ships and designs, yet this economic breakdown seems to happen every time after a while now. For me it breaks the campaign forcing me to start over. It could be a serious obstacle to play the game. If I may make a suggestion to one solution to the problem of the enemies having admiral after admiral sacked, it should be that if an admiral is sacked due to using too much money, there should be a forced reduction in their fleet. I hope the development team could have a look at these issues as it is seriously impeding my abillity to play the campaign to the end now. One last thing is that despite having based my submarines very cloose to enemy ports I have yet to see an option to use them in fight. The window with options to to play out a battle or run away never appears. It seems I cannot get them to do anything.
  7. Hmmm, I am getting a bit different results here. I've been at war as Japan with Russia and the Chiense for more than a year (starting in 1900), beaten them quite well and they still keep going without suing for peace. Also, I seem to have little problems bringing them to a fight in most cases. If they flee, which they do, even in the face of numerical inferior forces sometimes, I just pursue and my faster ships will sometimes catch up with their slower ones and force a fight. However, my main problem is that the subsequent loading screen freezes up at ".....battles....." rendering my results void. Only an auto resolve will progress me any further. This problem needs to be addressed as well before I can do much more campaign testing. Hope it can be resolved quite fast because I am eager to sink more tonnage!
  8. Yeah, still having the frozen turret issue with at elast some ships during battles. It has happened to both CLs, CAs and BBs for me (Japan vs Russia 1900).
  9. I have a load problem after completing battles (Japan vs Russia, 1904). The game hangs after "....battle..." appears in lower right corner and I must kill it and start over. It seems to affect all battles so i cannot do battles myself now in the campaign. Otherwise, I haven't noticed large bugs yet in the last upodate. I will also add that, since this is my first post, this is the naval game I have been waiting for for years and I think it is an incredible effort by the developers. Being able to design your own ships with this level of freedom and use them in battles is just incredible. Please don't let negativity get you down, this is a complex game and it will take time to get it fully right! It already beats any other naval game I've played and I've tried a few!
