  1. When I make a taskforce and select invade instead of just making the ships more aggressive I would like the game to ask which enemy port I want to attack. Then the taskforce should sail to that port and fight the ships stationed there and any ships in the area. There could also be a modifier for coastal defence/port canons so that the after you beat the defending fleet the attacks success or failure, amount of damage done to port (reduced tonnage), and amount of damage done to attacking taskforce is determined by size of port vs. power of attacking taskforce. If a port is totally destroyed it should become an occupied territory that the host nation cannot use for rest of the war unless they counter attack with their own taskforce and retake the port.
  2. Why are the numbers for smoke interference for towers and funnels not equal? If my tower has -31 smoke interference and I add a funnel with +15 smoke interference I end up with +25 smoke interference on my ship design. That makes no sense. If the tower has -31 smoke interference then adding a funnel with +15 smoke should result in -16 Smoke interference on the ship statistics. Please make the numbers equivalent.
  3. I agree about someday being able to design the transports until then a simple checkbox on the financial screen to select armed transports for a certain extra cost would be nice. I am aggravated with having to fight enemy transports covered in 4-inch guns while my ships are sitting ducks. Also, maybe different types of transports could be offered in future like troop ships, oil tankers, bulk freighters, etc.
  4. They should allow players to upgrade ports the same way we upgrade the shipyard maximum tonnage. Just select the port and choose how much more tonnage you want to buy then it takes a certain number of months for the upgrade to finish. This is important late game when you could theoretically fill up a port with one large battleship. If a port is overloaded there should be a penalty imposed like slower repairs, higher maintenance costs, slower crew training, etc until the port is under max capacity again.
