  1. I've observed them building in waves. They'll scrap a good chunk of their navy whenever hulls become obsolete, and then construct large numbers at once
  2. Can you do something about land offensives, like slowing them down? It's far too easy for Germany to conquer all of Europe
  3. I feel as if taking a nations home territory is a bit easy. In my current Japan game, Germany is conquering its way through Europe after having subjugated parts of China, and it's doing so without much effort. Furthermore, the taking of territory, especially the home soil, should bring about a much larger gain in VP than it does rn
  4. As far as provinces go, this is roughly what I mean (please excuse my horrible edit skills). Poland can - and IMHO should - be split down into more territories. I think the game should use for that the Prussian, Austrian and Russian provinces, considering they can be used for a realistic progression of the map in different starts/as the game goes on. Ukraine should also be broken up further (though I only marked Galicia/Ruthenia here, the part that belonged to Poland between WW1 and WW2 should be seperated as well), as should Romania. I have only marked Transylvania, but I think a tripartite split would work best, with the other two being the traditional princedoms of Wallachia and Moldavia, probably. The area now named Moldavia on the map should be renamed Besserabia. Serbia should be split into at least Novi Sad/Peterwardein (being part of Austria-Hungary) and the southern part being independent. North-Eastern Italy should also be broken up into Venetia, Trient and Romagna, and maybe Lombardy. Norhtern France should have Alsace-Lorraine broken off which before WW1 should be German. Southern Spain may also feasibly be broken up into two areas. Edit: The province now called Galicia is in fact not Galicia and should be renamed to Slovakia Edit2: Also, aside from Ethiopia and arguably Marocco, there is no idependent nation in Africa in this time period. Just divvy all those lands up between the Europeans as historically accurate
  5. Minor thing, but the flag on the US Advanced main tower IV is still floating over it without visible connection
  6. I did, it was still coloured German. If that's the case you need to check the colouration, I think. Will post a screenshot when I get home
  7. Good start. Now, sorry that I continue to nag, but for one, hand over Eastern Poland to Russia in the pre-WW1 starts. Second, I would frankly split down Poland further, for example create a seperate province for Western Prussia, for Pommerania (and that one should contain the Neumark area, because you don't need a province for that), Silesia (maybe further split into upper and lower), Central Poland for the Russian owned bit as well as Lesser Poland and Galicia for the Austrian third (that one would probably be handed over to Poland in your alternate outcome of WW1)(Also, the province of Galicia you have right now was never called that. Just rename it to Slovakia). Also, you could feasibly split Eastern Prussia into the Memel region for the part that went over to Lithuania, Königsberg for the bit that became Kalinigrad after WW2 and Allenstein for the part that went to Poland. In general, I think that for a continent that sees all out total war in your game as regularly as it does, the provinces in Europe are far too large, making war too decisive
  8. Togoland isn't coloured correctly. Also, the entire north western bit of Africa should be French
  9. Anyone knows where the map and more importantly provinces are stored in the game files? I'd like to see whether I can play around with them a little
  10. What I mean is that you could easily make those borders more historical by for example taking that big blob Poland and splitting it up into multiple smaller provinces like Pommerania, Silesia, Mazovia, etc. Same goes for Ukraine, or France, or Italy, or Germany.
  11. For example Poland: The province of Poland you have on the map has the modern borders, however the dividing line between Germany, Russia and Austria ran right through it. Another one would be the boundry between France and Germany; Alsace-Lorraine should be split off to form its own territory. That would also make it harder for the two to just conquer the other in war. There are other zones on the map as well, like the boundry line between Italy and Austria/France (it might pay to turn Nizza into its own province) or Austria and Russia. Other then that, I think you did a pretty good job. Edit: I think your provinces are just too big as well. It is far too easy to conquer all of France, Spain, Germany, etc. in one go, and far too easy to then hold on to it. Reducing their size makes war in Europe especiall a bit less all-or-nothing
