  1. I agree, unfortunently it looks like we few #3 voters are out of luck for now. It would be nice if at some point down the road we could have the option of changing the flag types in the option menu. I am no game developer by any stretch of the imagination, but it doesn't seem like that would be too hard to implement.
  2. In the sample photos all of the units are nice and spread out, so the pretty looking battle flags of option 1 are pleasing to the eye. Now after playing the game for a few hours I think something along the lines of option 3 would be the best because the little unit symbols on option 1 are hard to see when units are in large groups. The different shaped flags would make unit types a lot easier to tell apart in large groups, which tends to happen often.
  3. Ammo isn't needed. The only case I can recall of a unit running out of ammo during the battle was the 20th Maine and I believe that was probably due more to incompetence involving the supply chain than them not actually having any ammo available within a reasonable distance. I'm sure their may have been a couple other cases of it happening during the battle, but no more than a handful and for the same reason as the 20th. And if it would negatively effect the AI, I would say no definetly.
  4. I posted about the terrain elevation on the Steam forums a few hours ago and Game-Labs said they are already designing such a feature due to lots of requests. Here is the link: http://steamcommunity.com/app/306660/discussions/0/540744299999753856/ As for the rest of my wish list, I would have to say... 1. Ultimate General: The Civil War (Grand Campaign, control everything) 2. Ultimate General: [insert any Major Battle of the Civil War]
  5. First, I want to say I too really like the game so far. I posted on the Steam forum about this particular topic. I think being able to press a button to bring up a map overlay showing elevation contour lines would be quite helpful.
