  1. Thank you Maty, I stopped playing for a couple weeks or so hoping a patch would come out. I have a pretty potent laptop (Quad core 16g ram solid state HD) was hoping it would be able to handle it, but I can only get a campaign to work now 1 out of 5 times or so. The times it has worked it ended up freezing entering the 1st battle, so the game is unplayable as of now. Maybe when quantum computers become common I can actually play this.
  2. I have repeatedly tried to get the game to start a new campaign, doesn't matter the year or country, every time the game freezes at May of 4 years before requested start of campaign. Example, try to start campaign in 1940, game will load and will show the ticker for the months before the campaign starts, so in this case, it will show January 1936 on the load screen. I can't get past May. I have restarted my laptop to no avail. This is a fun game so looks like I will be waiting for them to do a hotfix. Thanks
  3. Same problem with me yet I can't start a new campaign either as the game will freeze on May 4 years before launch date.
  4. I care not about firing tables or anything o0f the like. I just want my guns to hit more than 1 in 30 when under 2km away in 1910.
  5. Just had 4 torpedo boats go by a BB and none of them fired their torpedoes at it. Game is fatally broken. I am sick of bringing this topic up. Games are meant to be played and by being played they are controlled and part of that control involves of firing of armaments, and if the armaments cannot be fired then the game cannot be played. Ridiculous that in this day and age this needs to be spelled out like this but hey, half the population has an IQ below 100 so I guess we should be glad that the people who run this company do not produce cars as they would build them without throttle control(gas pedal). loloollololol soooooo fickin stupid
  6. Make it so the ships do what you tell them to. If you want full throttle then full throttle happens. If you want them to turn, they turn. Have it so they don't do anything you do not tell them to do and have them do everything you do tell them to do. I think it is called "controlling the units". I think they use this style of game (controlling units) on a bunch of wargames. It would be cool if you could actually have the units follow your commands vs cutting engines even though you have it at full throttle, turning when they are not instructed to and not firing torpedoes when broadside to the target. Gets really irritating when you are trying to fight a battle like getting up to the enemy warship to attack it but every time anything hits the closest ship it turns right around. Maybe you guys should introduce captains, and have the option to execute the captain for insubordination.
  7. I am losing my mind on this, when my TB or DD is 200m away from the broadside enemy ship, they take their sweet time firing the torpedoes. But since they take their sweet time, the enemy ship has all the time in the world to turn away. I WANT A FIRE THE FICKING TORPEDOES BUTTON. It isn't a hard concept, I know in real life if a captain says fire torpedoes then the torpedoes will be fired, and if someone does not, they will either be court martialed for failure to follow a direct order or they will be hung as a traitor. This isn't some extravagant concept I am asking for. I simply want the ability to fire the torpedo(s) when I deem it the best angle of attack. I am sick of sitting here smashing Shift+mouse button waiting minutes for these ships to do what they are supposed. I am sick of rage quitting due to blown opportunities. Program in a fire torpedoes button. Simple concept, now execute simple concept. This falls into another broad concept, ships not doing what they are told to do. I detach all ships so they are independent and tell them to sail on a specific bearing to catch up to the enemy. Next thing you know and some of the ships are turning 180 degrees away. If I tell the ficking ships to sail in a direction then they need to do what the fick I tell them to do. This concept is called control of units, it is used in 99% of war games. The commander says do this, and this is done. Why is it so hard for this to happen? If I want them to sail in a direction, they do so, If I say go this fast, they go this fast, if I say fire whatever armament, then the armament is fired. Stop dicking around with me, I want to have control of these ships and not have them do stupid shit like blow an opportunity to attack (torpedoes), turn around 180 degrees or slow down to 0knts. This is stupid to not have them do what they are told. I am sick of screaming at my computer "DO WHAT YOU ARE FiCKING TOLD". SIMPLE CONCEPT:HAVE UNITS DO WHAT THEY ARE TOLD TO DO.
  8. I am just failing to understand why there can't be a fire torpedos button. So many times I sail broadside against any enemy ship, setting is on aggressive and nothing happens. If I can control direction(rudder) and velocity then why can't I control firing? Imagine call of duty but you dont get to fire, you just hope your guy fires when you have a shot. What I am asking for isn't some magical thing. Simply being able to fire torpedos when the shot is perfect isn't difficult. Waiting on some AI to fire them isn't a good idea. Already played WOWS and WTNC. The campaign aspect and build your own boat is why I am here.
  9. Full broadside against another ship and my TB consistently miss from under 100m. Every time that happens, missing easy shots like that, I rage quit out. I can't handle this kind of frustration. This isnt fun. And with the campaign. Let it start later on. I dont want to hello kitty around with 1800s boats.
  10. Yup, completely agree. Try to plan attack with 5TB against 2 CLs. Well look at that, three of my TBs are headed in the opposite direction 3km away from where I told them to go. I wish I could fire on my own ships, as I am getting REALLY hello kittyING TIRED OF NOT HAVING MY ORDERS FOLLOWED. It puzzles me why someone would make a game for someone else to play yet in the game there isn't any control of what is supposed to be played. For all the planning that has gone into the game has anyone thought that maybe the simple idea of having the ships follow orders would be important. Pure frustration this game is, I am amazed that the simple idea of controlling your ships would be so hard. In real life, if I were the captain and I said full right rudder, and some idiot didn't do full right rudder, I would either shoot them on the spot or throw them overboard. Simply having the boats follow directions would be a start......
  11. I am having a really hard time having fun with this game when the ships just turn around and sail in the other direction that they are being told to sail in and when there is no fire button. I am sick of having torpedo shots lined up and continually hitting 8 then 4 for aggressive fire only to have the ship not fire. Yes I see that everything is loaded. The premise of this game is that I am the person in charge of commanding these boats yet the boats do not follow orders. If I tell a ship to sail in a certain direction and it does not then I am not the one in command and I leave the battle. I want the ships to follow my orders. I want to have a button to press that actually fires the weapon I want to fire. Otherwise there is no point in playing this game.
