  1. came across an issue with starting as japan in 1890, you start with only 8k dockyard size so when you start the campaign with auto design ships you actually wont have any battleships built, conversely when you open up your finances or politics tab you are still marked down for having X amount of battleships in fleet. I'm not sure if this ghost fleet can effect tensions but I ran 2 campaigns where I deleted the fleet and 1st game I was able to stay in peace for nearly two decades but the 2nd game Russia was not pleased with my fleet activities.
  2. messed with a couple a different decade campaigns and if you just start with no navy at all everyone kind of just leaves you alone. peace time does last for about a decade and you're able to stay out of wars, though I would prefer to have some kind of functioning navy and still be able to achieve a similar result if I want to aim for peace.
  3. Something that seemed to got more out of hand with the addition of all nations is the complete collapse of any political peace for any long periods of time. maybe I'm not effective at ending wars quickly or it just not a fully fleshed out political system but it seems like going to war with 5-7 nations is inevitable. what country wants that? how many fronts does my poor nation of japan have to fight.
  4. I'm sure this is known but I just wanted to add this hull to the list. BC5 has negative range no matter what I do to it in a 1920 start. Edit- I was able to barely get out of the negative by having really high speeds but my ford focus has more range than it still.
  5. There are easy guides on youtube that show you how to edit your game save, its surprisingly simple.
  6. Let me clarify that I'm just talking hypothetically and that I do agree they have enough on the plate as it is.
  7. I agree, i rather not have CVs or atleast an option to opt out of them ingame if they ever arrive
  8. I am incredibly excited for these upcoming features but on a less important side note, updating some of the nations hull models would be lovely as they seem to share a lot of with each other more than what would seem reasonable. again, not import to the coming patch and I'm sure something the team already knows of but I thought I'd mention it. Yours Humbly guy who plays too often P.S is there a conservative estimate for the patch beta? even a way over estimation is fine.
  9. please, I beg of you. undo the fix that stopped us from continuing after the war was won or had a revolution. we know it breaks the game and we know its not balanced but its nice to have some semblance to a longer campaign. Thank you, a bored player
  10. I don't usually get active in game forums but this game has struck a chord with me and I thought I say a little about my experience so far. So, I have played both campaigns all the way through 1930, on normal and hard. I have also did it with auto generated fleets and custom fleets. Understanding that this first iteration of the campaign is just a barebones starting point I don't have too much to complain about knowing that or its already been mentioned(wonky ai). But I do wish for ongoing war, im sure you already know that 1920,1930 campaigns still end quite quickly which makes research feel next to useless to fund. I think the option to continue the campaign with Periods of peace time so the AI can regroup and Tech can actually be developed. Obviously there would be a lot of balance issues, for example, I'm sure removing the option to take land would be necessary to not permanently gimp the AI or give them a boost in research to help keep up. sometimes TR losses feel a bit aggressive also I do think TR losses should be in more of the players control with the convoy missions and I also agree that if AI is going to run they shouldn't engage to begin with, unless being ambushed which should then start at a closer range. last thing for now, the 1920,1930 should have battles spaced out a bit more with time or give the option to withdrawal if possible sometimes the economy gets absolutely wrecked because there was 6 battles in 2 months and half my fleet is in repairs. and even with minor damage the repair cost still seems a bit much. Welp off to work. kind of rushed the whole thing but hoping my input helps at all.
