Could one of you good people please explain to me how invasions (offensive & defensive) work and how you support them with your fleets? To be clear, I'm talking about land invasions. It's pretty clear how naval invasions work. Do I need to place fleets close to the coast or a port of the province being attacked or is it just based on what fleets I have in the "Sea Region"? Playing as Britain, I currently have Kashmir being attacked (from two directions) by the Chinese. What do I do about this? The tooltip says Kashmir's Sea Region is Bay of Bengal. If I put a fleet in the Bay of Bengal, will that help support the defence of Kashmir even though it's about 1000 miles inland?

I seem to have been having an increased problem with the main guns on my ships not firing recently. It seems to be a problem at close range and strangely seems to be more of a problem when the hit chance is high. When the hit chance is low (below 5%) my ships are quite happy to fling shells pointlessly into the sea but as soon as it goes high, they refuse to fire. It's very frustrating knowing that I could be winning battles (or winning them more easily) if only my guns would fire at targets they are locked onto right in front of them. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a long-running problem?

I am currently having a problem with the launcher. Ever since Alpha 12 was released (never had a problem until then), I have to reinstall the game every time I want to play it. Starting the launcher gets me the following message: "Game installation failed with an error. Could not create folder for temp files. Please try again" If I then click Play it says "Could not find the executable game file. Please repair it via Options > Repair". If I select Repair, it gives me the first error message again. The only way I can get it working is to select Uninstall, go into Files and delete the UAD folder manually and then redownload it. After doing this it works fine until I close the launcher and have to repeat the process again. Any help with this would be appreciated.
