  1. A bunch of the British Battlecruiser VI superstructures are obstructing their own interior mount points again. These are usually great places for 76mm and 51mm guns. The side deck mounts of these superstructures, in the cut-out area either side, have the same issue. This issue comes and goes. Typically re-appears every time you guys tinker with the mounting points for the autobuild. IJN Modern Battleship II Modern Tower I still can't mount 127mm turrets on the upper three mountings. This tower most closely matches yamato as sunk, with upgraded AA and 24 127mm guns in 12 twin turrets. Considering the hull in question is the one you guys said yourselves was intended to replicate Yamato, I feel like this issue needs addressed. Also, maybe switch the modern Tower I and Modern Tower III designs? Modern Tower II looks like Yamato BEFORE the AA upgrade, when she had 12 127mm in six model A1 Mod.3 (Might be mod.2) mounts and 12 155mm guns in four triple turrets. During refitting, two of the triple 155mm turrets, which were mounted on the sides, "en echelon", were removed, to fit twelve more 127mm guns, in model A1 mod.1 mounts. Oddly, the existing guns, along with their Model A1 mod.3 mounts, were moved to the new barbettes, and the new turrets were installed on the old barbettes I've uploaded two images, with problem mount points marked in red Also, of lesser importance, can we someday maybe get the IJN mount points marked in yellow to not get obstructed by Modern Secondary Tower I, when it's pushed up really close to the Modern Main Tower I? There's no visible obstruction. Maybe get it to work with the aft lower 127mm/102mm mount, too. It's a great place to put 51mm turrets, when it's not blocked by something. Lastly, and also not of immediate importance, on the UK Battlecruiser VI superstructures, the point marked in yellow might benefit from fitting 127mm guns, when scaled up to 135mm. Might be helpful for a psuedo 1944-refit Hood replica. Green Circle is something I forgot to delete. Ignore it.
  2. Oldenburg. 23 knt top speed 157,704 t standard displacement. 1,155' 3" LOA, 182' 1" beam, 33' 10" draft. Armement-Guns: Twelve 20" (4x3) Twelve 8" (6x2) Sixteen 5" (8x2) Twelve 2" (6x2) Armament-Torpedoes: Ten 21" torpedo tubes (2x5) with high speed torpedoes (One reload per tube onboard) Armor - Hull: 20" main belt 8" fore and aft belts 8"main deck 6" fore and aft deck 20" conning tower 2.5" superstructure. Armor - 20" turret: 20" side 8" top Armor - 8" turret: 8" side 5" top Armor - 5" turret: 2.1" side 1.5" top Armor - 2" turret: None Equipment: All 1940 cutting edge (Final upgrade in slot), except: No Underwater Acoustics or Radio Geared Turbine II Balanced boilers Semi-balanced rudder Heavy shells Standard shell load Standard bulkheads (slot and slider) The vessel has luxurious accomodations for it's top-notch crew. Pitches a fair bit in a seaway. Slow, but ungodly durable, and hits like a thousand tons of bricks. Secondary guns are optimized to support main batteries against enemy battleships and battlecruisers. Murderous against heavy and light cruisers as well. Destroyers buckle against the 5" guns in particular, since they hit more reliably at a higher RoF than the 8" guns. Beware, her 23 knt top speed hinders escapes, but that's usually not a problem with this thing. Played right, she can challenge multiple enemy battleships simultaneously. If ever there was an H-45 (there wasn't) this is it.
  3. So it's not just me, then? Never done it with 11" guns, though. Only 10". I still kinda feel like this is a potential balance issue? Definitely kinda fun, though. Tested in Custom battles just now, and it seems it can, in fact, best dreadnoughts. German enemy from 1906 vs me at 1904. Not a huge difference, but he should have had more of an adventage.
  4. Noticed I cannot place small barbettes behind the integrated barbette, ahead of the superstructure, on the French experimental hulls. This is on top of the fact that, despite explicitely stating that the Yamato hull was introduced to allow more accurate replicas, it still cannot mount it's historical 127mm guns on it's superstructure. Only the superbattleship can do so. Now, with each patch, I find more and more situations where guns aren't fitting on mount points that once held them, or have no fire arc when mounted, or have a tiny arc without any obstruction to justify it. It gets worse with each patch. You guys need to perform a dedicated review mounting points and weapon firing arcs. Maybe investigate as to what makes it grow worse from patch to patch? Also, greebles are completely out of control. They go spastic when changing displacement, and hang off the hull like crazy.
  5. The new Japanese hull, intended to allow us to "more faithfully recreate the Yamato-class, due to its angled deck", cannot mount the upper six twin 127mm needed to do exactly that.
