The full clean install did it, many thanks for walking me through nabbing the temp files.

Ever since hot fix v84 and/or v83 I will launch the game successfully from the launcher, I will see the introductory picture of a ship for less than a second, then it will get stuck in a off blue colored screen. According to windows task manager the game is running, and I have let the screen sit for 5 mins without it moving on to the main game screen. I am running windows 7 with all my hardware updated to the latest versions. I have not experienced this error before with this game, prior versions ran fine.
