had the same problem, but after trying several times for about 10 minutes, it now works again -

Game crashes immediately after pressing the PLAY button. Tried to reinstall, same problem. Also cannot find the crash report folder. I searched for the name of the file in the error message. Edit: found the file, it is actually named in a completely different date format than the message said.
