  1. I was kinda disappointed they removed the 'cheat' mode from the editor as well. Sometimes it's just fun to make something ridiculous..
  2. Please ignore if mentioned before, but the formation-AI still seems to be unable to keep ships in a line. Whenever I have a formation of more than two my ships start violently and erratically manoeuvring all over the place, as if they're on a collision-course.. I've tried the 'spread out' option to see of that helps any, but they do it regardless of distance between them it seems. It doesn't seem to happen if I place them all in their own 1-ship divisions and just tell them to follow the ship in front of them individually.
  3. First of all, love the new flash-fire mechanics and graphics! They look so cool, and it's a treat to see one happening. They're just rare enough to feel special. I did a quick scan of the comments and I don't think it's been mentioned yet, but the formation AI does not like staying in line much does it? I've noticed that when I have say 5 or 6 BB's or BC's in line astern formation, the last 3 seem to randomly break formation. It seems to me they are trying to avoid some perceived collision? But there shouldn't be any.. I tried changing the spacing, but they do it regardless of whether I tell them to stay close or space out. It struck me as odd and I thought I'd mention it here. I'm really not sure if this is a bug or expected behaviour. Edit: It only seems to happen when I have the ships in the same division. If I have them all individually and tell them to follow the ship infront of them it all works fine. I can add some screens if needed.
  4. I've noticed that for the British Armoured cruiser V hull, some gun configuration doesn't quite work the way I would expect it to. It basically comes down to side-guns that are pointing to the stern not tracking during battle, but the building interface doesn't show any issues with the guns. I've tested it with both 9 and 8'' guns. When I reverse the turrets(so they point to aft) they do track. I've added some screenshots for clarity as It's kinda hard to explain otherwise. I hope the 'issue' is clear this way. If not, please let met know. I can provide some additional screens and/or explanation. Other than that, just keep doing what you're doing because this game is already incredibly fun to play in this stage! I'm impressed!
  5. I've noticed it can have a significant effect on shell trajectory. So you can choose to go for a very flat trajectory with light shells, white-powder and a relatively small calibre gun(which have higher velocity). Or you can go for more plunging arcs if you go super-heavy shells, tube-powder and a high calibre gun. Both have advantages and disadvantages in terms of where you hit an enemy ship(belt or deck). I'm not sure if shell velocity has any effect on accuracy at the moment, but I imagine firing over a very flat arc with high velocity might make aiming easier. I believe shell velocity might also have an effect on armour penetration. But I'm not sure if or how that is modelled in the game at the moment, since there is a separate stat for that.
  6. Thank you for the speedy response! The purchase went fine and the game is installing now!
  7. So how does this pre-order work? I see the option to fill in my email and 'confirm'. But I don't see any information on the rest of the process? How do I pay, and what payment options are available?(f.e. I don't have a credit-card, they're not common where I'm from.) I don't want to commit to buying something if I'm not sure I can actually pay for it. 😅
