  7. I wish we had coastal battles in the campaign. While I am not a fan of WoWs or War Thunder maps, I think battling in open sea time after time, always, gets a little boring. Since this is a game, some variety would be welcome, even if only visual.
  8. To be honest, I am more concerned about getting newer ships and appropriate components for them.
  9. Oh, and let's not forget this priceless meme. Another release "next week, on Monday". Place your bets, lads. Do you think this time they'll hit the mark? Lol.
  10. Gameplay sets limitations, such as number of shells and limited time to destroy enemies. Therefore, rigorous historicity is an obstruction in the way of enjoyable gameplay. Wise players who want to win realize they must abide by gameplay requirements, therefore secondary guns fall out of favor, and historicity dies - since there's no point in using weapons, which very essence realism advocates try to protect.
  11. Because secondaries are pretty much useless. Need need higher damage and accuracy in order to be effective - at least against destroyers. Right now, it's better to invest money and tonnage into something other than secondaries.

  13. On topic of impregnable AI constructed battleships... Believe it or not, but this bad boy makes 36 knots!
  14. This mission needs to be adjusted. Either the enemy overwhelms the player, or player runs out of ammo and/or time. That's not how a well designed scenario should work.
  15. I completely agree. This is a massive problem that prevents fair victories on part of players. If the AI has fled, then player clearly should be considered victorious. Otherwise, there will be stupid purely technical mission failures, which will lead to a lot of frustration and complaints in the future. The game must be fun. Losing due to a timer or some other technicallity when you almost have won is not fun.
  16. Nick must be thinking: "Wow. Imagine having to write dev diaries every week, along your other work and family business, for free - so some nerds on the internet will have another thing to whine about discuss."
  17. It's a known issue universally despised by the community. AI manages to make unimaginable ship designs, partially due to the fact that it has no range (tonnage) restrictions like we do.
  18. I support this request. It's a much needed one.
  19. In my opinion, BBs secondary guns are very underwhelming against incoming DDs and CLs. While having them for sake of historical accuracy is nice, I think it's more practical to invest into armor/speed/almost anything else.
