  1. As a Dev myself I guess technical debt or in laymans terms: Spaghetti Code 😛 Seeing how much stuff gets broken everytime they introduce or change something their codebase must be funny.
  2. I am aware, that I can change the name of a class. My point is that this is somewhat unwieldy and unintuitive compared to just enabling the build button on the actual refit.
  3. Interesting. I tried that out. Unfortunately still unwieldy as frick. Now I have 2 times the same ship in my design section. Once as refit, and a second time as "new" ship. Also there is a new name getting pulled for the ship when copying the refit. Means my "Kaiser Friedrich III"-Class of 1901 is now called "Brandenburg"-Class because for the game its a new ship.
  4. Still no way to directly build refits? As long as this is not in I am stopping to play.
  5. So? I never said I want that in the game(Battle), no? Maybe should check who you are replying to before going off of a tangent. EDIT: Clarified "game"
  6. Well its not quite on WTs or WoWs level. and for your second part of the post I have no frigging clue what you want to say. vOv
  7. That is something I would like to see vor 1.07. Basically a 3D Armor viewer just like in WoWs or WT. That would be very cool.
  8. Any ETA on a fix to Crew Training? Right now crews can be trained to Veteran without combat simply with the slider. That makes a) veteran ships less "valuable" because everyone got them and b) turn the game into a snipefest. This issue affects AI and the Player Thanks
  9. No worries, I realized the comment read a bit snarky. I am not😄 It is one of my main gripes with the campaign (except of course the game breaking bugs).
  10. I think I posted this 3 or 4 times already in this thread that its possible to train your crew to vets.
  11. This is also possible for the player. You just need to crank up the training slider. Thats what makes all ships snipers in combat (and TBs in 1890 impossible to use due to the +600% range found bonus.
  12. Now I suffered the infamous "building new ships" hang up aswell for the first time ever after updating to HF18. Interestingly enough UA:D uses 100% of my GPU but no CPU.
  13. True that. I think Battleship IV is needed as this hull before dreadnoughts
  14. Thats a Deutschland-Class though and about 15/5 years after 1890, 1900 respectively. Imo BB hulls are fine right now. Its the heavy cruiser that needs some love.
  15. The BB-hull corrosponds to the Kaiser Friedrich III-class battleships. The Heavy cruisers though... I dont know. I havent found a single heavy cruiser to correspond to the BB-Copy-Hull. Realistically the "semi-armored cruiser" hull should be Germany's heavy cruiser hull. Looks a lot like the SMS Fürst Bismarck
  16. yes, and thats fine, but according to the tooltip you should not be able to train your crew further than trained with crew training. Right now in 1890 Campaigns battleships snipe TBs when they are approaching at 32kt lol. In the end it happens to AI and to the player but its still subpar. it makes 800m TBs unuseable.
  17. What needs to be adressed is the possibility to bring crew up to veteran with the crew training slider. and please let us build refitted hulls from the get go. It makes no sense to build a old ship only to refit it right after it came out of dockyard. EDIT: I was gone for a week on vacations. Now I am losing convoys like mad in the north sea without me being able to defend them. I only get "Meeting" battles and nothing else when back in Beta 12 or so I regularly had even fights on convoy battles.
  18. Not a bug but feature request: Can the year of the tech stay in the title even after researching it? With the next techs title locked its hard to gauge in which tech one is lacking
  19. Thanks Nick! Amazing pace with the updates. Tooltips are not fully fixed though. It works better now, but not 100% correct.
  20. VP Bug and tension needs a slight pass so each ship generates x amount of tension (probably depending on the class). Right now e.g. Britain gets mad equally at germany whether they have one heavy cruiser in the north sea or 4 BBs, 16 CA, 256CLs. Also there needs to be a modifier of negative tension each turn. Means if I pull my big bad boys from the north seas the tension will not rise any further or even drop to 0 (or max -50) etc. Another "bug" I found is that you can train your crew to Veterans with the crew train slider although the tooltip says it shouldnt rise above trained.
  21. Crew Veterancy gives an insane amount of % to "Range known" modifier. expert crew gives 600%+ accuracy while "cadet" gives only 40%. This needs an urgent fix!!!
  22. I would like to see a "normalizing" pass done to all weapons. As an example I took a 8.8cm Mk1 Gun Casemate (0% Length) vs Secondary (+20% length). Both are 8.8cm L/38 yet have different pen, range and muzzle velocity. Reload Rate for example can be justified by different construction etc but one would assume they take the same ammo for both guns (shell weight is the same).
  23. Ships damaged from a prior engagement are counting towards VP. Means if you have a couple of "Straggle"-Engagements they produce VP multiple times.
  24. Why exactly does the UK AI get +420.1% accuracy for "Range Found" when I only get 41%? as German Empire? Game is currently broken beyond playability. My ships never manage to hit anything. BBs are the worst offender. Look at this screen, the 280mm guns have a accuracy of 30% on the Hull (its just down to 3.1% due to the damage taken). Look at the damage dealt and damage taken. The other 3 BBs didnt make much more damage either.
  25. For the love of god, please turn down the accuracy of longer barrels/ inaccuracy of shorter barrels. The AI just build a battleship with 301mm guns (279mm + max). That thing just sniped everything. In 1890...
