  1. Wargaming is worth a LOT more money and as such as can freely afford such overheads? Also fairly sure @admin once worked for Wargaming (I may have heard wrong, maybe admin and confirm/deny) and is very aware of this.
  2. Rum and repairs give XP, not sure about the repair rate but 1 unit of rum crafted is 1xp
  3. I don't mean the ones you can craft in the Academy in any ports, just in those that have "extra labor contracts" as a resource production
  4. Players can't control where the missions spawn, it's not their fault if they spawn in the same spot
  5. I'll admit, both being pirates makes this a more complicated case, but there have been many examples of people using alts to achieve the same thing. So I'd say it is the reinforcement mechanic that needs looking at again, more than the "outlaw" stuff
  6. But joining one side PURELY to open the other side for entry is an abuse of mechanics to get around another intended mechanic and surely tribunal worthy?
  7. Is that what happened with you guys? (The Settlement I think it was)
  8. Those are the ones I am after If someone knows how to find them in the API
  9. I may be stupid, but where on that map does it tell you where the magic forests are?
  10. There was a list posted on the forums but it looks like the forests have moved since the wipe, it would be nice if someone could put a list together. I'd do it myself but have no idea where to find that information
  11. I don't care if you just add it to the game or make it DLC but we need more outpost slots. Or at the very least, make Freeport outposts separate from the regular ports. So like keep the current 8 and give us four that can only be used for free ports?
  12. They should change the name to "Module Repair" or something
  13. Correction, TWO "powerful" clans that instead of attacking each other prefer to kick those without a means of defending themselves effectively
  14. I still must say, I am VERY nervous about the state of the game in terms of balance and the economy (or lack thereof) and am still very surprised that you consider the game to be complete
  15. It's fine as long as they don't start talking about the war
  16. Can I have some of whatever you have been smoking? The game is still grossly unbalanced/flawed Basic things like chain shots showing as ball is STILL an issue despite you recently saying it was fixed. Musket mods are still virtually an insta-win button in boarding, The ECO is buggered, there is ZERO incentive to do actual trade between ports which means most ports are a massive money sink. The ONLY reliable way to make money is with those boring arse cargo missions and even they take hours per day and you'll be lucky to make 1 million. Buildings cost are stupidly high especially when you take into account how much grind is need just for the doubloons alone (95k in total to get to a level 3 ship yard?!) that's 95 of those stupid cargo missions. The gap between those that have the elite ships and upgrades and those who do not has only increased with every major change you make, made even worse with the port specialisation that doesn't actually require you to specialise. You screwed up RvR for everyone except the big clans/nations with stupidly high BR limits for port battles AND by removing any meaningful way to counter hostility Ganking being made even more attractive with every major change. You have done nothing to encourage or reward players for wanting to challenge themselves, in fact the reverse is true, players are essentially punished if they choose not to gank Ships are far too easy to lose to a gank compared to the grind required to replace them. In the 3 years I have played I have seen you do almost NOTHING to try and discourage the toxic community that this game has become known for. Exploits are openly used by streamer(s) that you support These are just some of the many examples of reasons this game is NOT ready for release. I'm sure by "release" you actually mean "We have taken this project as war as we can/are willing to take it and have other projects to focus on funded by the sales of this game" That being said, Ultimate Admiral DOES look cool
  17. Because human beings in general are terrible and many people would exploit the shit out of it. It's the reason we no longer get decent rewards for killing individual player ships.
  18. I appear to have offended you so I will try to talk to you like a four year old so that your feelings are not hurt any further. First of all, for those without any real skill, boarding is a far easier way to win battles. Just stick muskets and Marines on your ship and then push your opponent into the wind and board Secondly boarding is very common amongst gankers, have 3 or 4 ships chaining a single ship down and then push and board. We see just as many if not MORE "boarded and sank" in combat news than we do "sank". Lastly if the ship is worthy of being kept then it must clearly be a good prize, the very fact that you want to keep it implies it is a good prize. If the ship is not any good, you can just hit the sink button and you get the reward. Either way you get rewarded. This is a game, NOT a history documentary
  19. It's very simple, the captured ship IS the reward, why do people have so much trouble grasping that concept?
