  1. it SHOULD go to the clan that owns the port. My understanding that it currently does not. A simple change like this would help port ownership costs immensely.
  2. hmm? Global server was created as a result of night flips. Not a war between WO and VCO...who happened to be in the same nation at the time. What's funny is I seem to remember you kissing our ass in Russia. You were quite the good boy on TS. Oh how times change. VCO also left Russia only a handful of us were able to do content during EU hours, most of those went and re-created 7up in Spain....which is where you ran off too for a while if you recall.... until you got smashed by us at Key West. I get you got an axe to grind. It's ok. but you just come across as bitter, it's a bad look.
  3. Yes, ban them. But you'll also have to ban BF Clan, REDS.. and most of Russia too for similar "testing" over at Santiago De Cuba. Anyone else I forgot? Oh right SH clan for using the same "testing" over at Cayo Bisc.
  4. Unfortunately QoL features and small things the take the mundane out of NA are heresy and ruin people's immersion. Just can't have nice things. I don't think anyone is resistant in particular to Angus' issue, it's just a small potatoes compared to other game problems.
  5. An empty battle wastes roughly 35 minutes of your time assuming you cap all 3 circles immediately. Not a huge deal for the amount of Vic marks.
  6. WO fought privateer and wraith just last night. Why are you always wrong? Why did not show up to any of the little river fights?
  7. Takes 21 minutes for all 3 circles to tick up to 1000
  8. I heard when the US attacked little river 10 or 15 times you were present at zero of them. Same with shallow ports like marsh and harbor. Sounds like you’re just dodging fights against VCO... not all of them. Why go personal on the great battles thread tho? If you got a grudge against this clan you should probably stop avoiding every fight against them. Just saying
  9. This sure is a lot of drama for a battle no one cares about. Texas sure likes to boast about fights he wasn’t in.
  10. We also had a larger population when we didn't have timers. Could we go back to that?
  11. Someone at some point suggested like a tradewinds system as an alternative to sailing slow ass ships everywhere. Certain points on the map would have +9000 to speed and it would take you along a set route. Not a terrible idea really partnered with your daily tow. A delivery system operated by players would be an interesting mechanic. Player 1 requests certain items to be towed to a port. Player 2 picks it up in a ship and hauls it to somewhere collecting a decent reward.
  12. Why need tows when you can redeem DLC ships in any free town 😀 If you want more tows in game... suggest a DLC for it. It’ll get done.

The theory behind this is a nation having a far from the action (especially with front lines) home base, like Bermuda for example, and using it as a utopia to farm and craft ships with minimal risk. With the tow you are at least some some hard limits. Also you buy more alts to use more tows which makes admin happy.
  14. There are less than 10 US timer ports on the map currently. Not really a problem.
  15. I like it should call them supply missions or something. And if you don't complete these weekly your investments start falling apart
  16. Obviously this isn't the right thread, but this comment is interesting. Anymore info on the increase in clan based mechanics? I'm going to assume that everyone in clan X will need to be in clan x to generate hostility for that said clan. Or maybe clan X + friends list? Once this is done, what would the advantages of staying in a nation based game format be? This would essentially be a clan + alliance based game then.
