Launch fleet ships?
Tortue Agile replied to r6751's question in Feature proposals and Gameplay Help Q&A
Once you have allocated a crew to the fleet ship it will sail with our main ship until you send it back to the dock. You won't see it as a ship beside yours unless you get in a battle. -

Sure.... but it seems that not everybody can display his frustration without consequences in the forum.

please stick to the topic

I got inspired by that topic: https://forum.game-labs.net/topic/32592-definition-of-exploit/ and since I didn't want pollute the main conversation I created this one.

I would like to know genuinely what is the community and how we should act. And when acting should we act as one? What do we need to do to be a member of the community? Are we member of the community even if we don't always agree with the direction the game is taking? Does a community member supposed to defend the game to be one? In my opinion we are a community because we play the same game and we took the extra step to create an account on this forum and participate to the varied topics. We are not a community because we all think the same thing otherwise we would live in a echo chamber and we wouldn't need any community. So I value the diversity of opinions in our community. As for the actual state of the community I think that some members feel discouraged and disheartened to voice their opinion. I feel that sarcasm and passive aggressive answer are reserved to a limited part of the population and it doesn't help with the malaise taking hold. So what do you think?

Can we get 1 redeemable yacht for all dlc purchase?
Tortue Agile replied to Yachteru's topic in Tavern
The yacht was made available for all of us who bought the game before it's Jan 2016 release. -
Make Diana accessible
Tortue Agile replied to Reorx Redbeard's topic in Current Feature Improvement Suggestions
Trinc don't require a permit... But a bunch of 5 and 4th rate require one which in my opinion is reducing greatly the choices we make when going to sea. I never liked the Trinc but thank to dev I had to use it. I do have now a few indefatigable (my favorite ex-5th rate) but since it does require a permit I can't have the best one I use whatever I can get. In my opinion having some ships requiring permit and doubloon to build them is an over kill. At the most it should be a doubloon only requirement. Also, I mainly talk about ships requirement permits you can only get by random drop... I also don't like the admiralty permits but that's an other story. -

I think nothing should stop us from making those suggestions it is our right . -
I would like to humbly present the following idea. I think that something similar some time ago but can't find it anymore. I would love to see crafting improved not by port bonus but by player ability to build ships. It should be separated by building tiers 1st tier: 7 and 6 ranks 2nd tier: 5 and 4 ranks 3rd tier: 3, 2 and 1st ranks The abilities of the crafter could be what we already have as port trim bonuses and ship bonuses but do it in removing the randomness of crafting. The abilities to build a good ship should go with practice... and so our crafter should have crafting xp for every ship he builds that he can then spend to improve his abilities. Those abilities should be transferable between building tiers. If I have an ability to build fast frigate there is reason that some of that knowledge could help me build a faster 6th rate or even a faster 2nd rate. Each ability would reach a Maximum in each building tier. If a player want to concentrate his building capacities in frigate only for example he should become a grand master in it. If we want to add some randomness it could be a flaw (when lacking for example any ability in strong hull I would get less hull HP or thickness) or a light improvement in one of the better ability I have developed for that building tier.

It would be nice if there could be a test server that would let us try the new things for a week before major patch release and help iron out any big bug. As a reward for participating we could receive something on the PVP or PVE server (depending of where we want it). I remember Elite Dangerous was doing that for some time and then stopped. And earlier in September they release a very messy patch and after listening to the community they decided to re-implement the test server.

Why did large surface ships use torpedo turrets?
Tortue Agile replied to goduranus's topic in General Discussions
They still needed to send the torpedo in the direction of the target, I guess you have to think about speed and turning radius. I don't think they were super maneuverable. -
you wrote that: "If this will not bring a direct benefit to A) online numbers b ) reviews within a month or two we will revert all ports to unlimited BR like it was old time ago and will remove all limitations from RVR "
I wanted to let you know that it could be misinterpreted as linking positive review with keeping a feature in the game.

To Dev/Newbies : Insatisfaction globale
Tortue Agile replied to bourdonnais's topic in Naval Action (en français)

To Dev/Newbies : Insatisfaction globale
Tortue Agile replied to bourdonnais's topic in Naval Action (en français)

Triste.
