  1. Thanks a lot, that sounds like a useful explanation, why I still did not found it. And I'm pretty sure, no one would ever sell it, when this blueprint is so hard to achieve 😕
  2. Yes, I'm reading that too. I found a captain, who claims he had over 200 raids against privateer fleet, but never got a blueprint for Tools out of a wooden chest, only for seasoned woods. That's why I'm asking, if it's already in the game or maybe not...
  3. I need some clarification, please. I don't like to collect Tools in certain ports and to move them to my homeport. I'd like to craft the ressource "Tools" by myself in my workshop / forge. The Naval Action map shows under "List admiralty Items and recipes" the item "Tools" and what Tools consist of: 10 labour hours 1000 reals 5 Iron Ore 5 Coal = 1 Tool I've got told, there's a Tools-blueprint from a Wooden Chest, but I have not found anyone, who has such a blueprint for the ressource "Tools". Blueprints from this chest, which captains find in the game after raiding a privateer fleet, seem to be related only to seasoned woods, which I don't want to craft. So has anyone already found a blueprint, which enables him to craft tools by himself with the ressources, I mentioned above? Which one is it? Thanks in advance, cpt's...
  4. Thanks a lot, I'm a trader in an Indiaman like many other captains on PVE and wouldn't even consider to attack a privateer-fleet of 8+ superfast Trincos / Pavels / whatever... I need a lot of tools for crafting labour contracts, but since we need 20 instead of 4 tools for one LC, tools became rare on ports of their usual appearance. Placing a contract for tools is also impossible, so I'd like to make the suggestion here, that these rare tool-blueprints are also available in the admiralty-shop and not only as a 20% random drop from a Wooden Chest after battle (if i manage to win and not got sunk).
  5. We should be able to craft Tools ourselves. Tools are not always available when needed and can't even be obtained via contract. Please make Tools Blueprint / Tools Note available for Doubloons in Admiralty Shop.
  6. Since the amount of tools for crafting a Labour Contract was increased from 4 to 20, I'd like to have the opportunity to craft tools in my forge. Another solution could be a higher droprate of tools in the ports, where they usually turn up. And, by the way: I'd like to read an explanation for this change. This game is out of Alpha or Beta, a deterioration of game mechanics should be announced / explained to the players. But it was not:
  7. "Salty Jack" This sailor throws all the useless salt overboard, when Fishing is active. Very usefull on long distance sailing AFK. Ingredients 500 Rum 100 Doubloons Pro: You don't have to delete salt manually and only fish will stay in the hold. Con: Can't sell catched salt to ports anymore (for 2 Reals per unit...)
  8. The interest is: Trading. Making money, buying, collecting and selling stuff. Without unwanted interruptions.

  11. Okay, dev's, don't forget to add an option for PVE-players to choose, if they want to be attacked or not. Such an option has to be available on PVE, since there is... Please dont forget this option, I'll count on you...
  12. In chat PvE players report attacks from fast AI-fleets on their traders since last patch. Even with a warship in front and traders as fleet, they'll be attacked. I just want to say: That should stop on PvE (the former peace-server^^). At least there should be an option to avoid such interferences on traders. You'll loose lots of peaceful players, not very hard to predict and fully deserved in my opinion ... please give peace a chance, dev's!
  13. Survivors from a longboat must be delivered to a port of their nationality and that gives a reward like a passenger mission. That would make sense to me...
  14. Trade in this game is so much more than just hauling stuff from the store from point A to point B or doing missions. You can buy decent priced ships, books, permits from other players and materials from your forests and mines and sell this stuff with lots of profit to your outposts in capital cities. Set contracts, if you want to achive better prices. Trade may cost you time and effort, but trade here is one thing not: Dead. So, if you like more trading, expand your horizon and simply do it! It's all already in the game, it's more than PvP and missions.

  17. On PVE we should have a turn-off switch to completely avoid aggressive AI. It's the Peace Server, players should not be forced into battles... 😕
  18. No. Simply no. But if this comes, I want to be able to turn off ANY attacks by NPC's, 'cause I don't want to be interrupted by anyone on my trade runs on PVE server, just as now.
  19. Not answering a straight, repeatedly asked question in dev's forum, could be an answer as well... (...and, what ever an answer would be, I'll never ever trust a given promise by dev's again.)
  20. For me it's okay as it is. I'd rather add an option, to completely turn off the day-/night-circle to play only on daytime / nighttime. The same could be thought about weather effects - I don't like any beside sunny days. It's a game, I'd like to customize it!
  21. ...which is fairly okay in my opinion, when they add one more clear statement to it: "Captains on PvE-server, your skills and ALL of your possessions are safe on game release." Nothing less, nothing more. That's what I wish, that would be a true, kept promise for the inconveniences we had to go through here - a true compensation.
