Off to a great start aren't we? I feel like that will prove my point further on. ^ In a time were freedom of speech seems to be criminalized more and more, i would like to ask additional information from whoever it is that controls what can and cannot be said in game. I was banned for something that i knew was offensive (Everyone is always offended by something these days, so no surprises there.) but nonetheless would be funny in my personal opinion. What i said here was not targeted at any particular individual and was meant in a comedic context. which prompted following lovely messages. I would like to say that i've been warned once, not several times, and not having been told the first time what exactly it is i said i'm a little unclear of what exactly is "proper human behaviour" in your opinion or whoever moderates what can and cannot be said in chat. But having to deal with improper human beings like me must be exhausting and therefore does not merit an accurate explanation i assume. Afterall, i was banned for saying what i said, but this guy Bet he got away scot free despite suggesting to me personally that i blow a swede? right? Or did you decide the context for him was "blowing a swede out of the water with cannons?" Regardless of what he meant by it. It gets even more confusing when every day in global chat there is plenty of "salt", and anger, and profanity being thrown around, and there seems to be no repercussions to this. But appearently i seem to be in the wrong, profanity and cursing is allowed as long as it fits your personal guide line of what can and can't be said. Ofcourse i wasn't cursing and my profanity was clearly meant in a comedic context. But you seem to dictate what can and can't be said with the handy little list below this ^ statement, so why not decide the context of what i said for me in the bargain eh? But in the end it is your game and i guess you get to dictate what can and cannot be said, context be damned. Fair enough, i'll take the global chat ban. But not allowing me to private message the GM to defend myself after accusing me of improper human behaviour. that i can't stand. Could've avoided this whole most likely pointless forum post in the first place. In any case this might have been a complete waste of my time. As is shown in the first picture, you get to censor whatever you please as i've read on negative steam reviews before i purchased this beautiful game. I understand that this is needed in case someone decides to post something like hardcore porn here. But it's already putting me on edge that this can be abbused for anything that is deemed "negative feedback". First time i've ever been chat restricted in an online game. I'm afraid i've been spoiled by thicker skinned communities. Or maybe it's just a sign of the politically correct safe space times we live in.... I was going to write something nice here, but it was decided for me that i am an improper human being. HHHHUUUUUUURRRRRRR UGH UGH UGH DUUUURRRRRRR.
