@Wraith My point was, if I wasn't so clear, is that that PvP you say you want won't happen in bellonas on the USA coast. Mainly because the pvpers are poor and don't live there. But I suppose I did say you would just say I have no idea, your more experienced. I've been playing for 2 weeks. I wish all I did was just try different things all the time, on different ships, with different mods, at different areas, with different players. I'm sorry guys, unfortunately you have to adapt. Sitting still waiting for a ganking achieves nothing really. Fighting in lineships hugging upwind waiting for people to make mistakes doesn't attract the PvP player your after, they know what battle to expect from 6 bellonas sat waiting at the reinforcement. I know many players who don't have the funds in game to fight in bellonas, at the moment anyway, they are poor. You should try using frigates. Even a mix of 5-4th rates. I'm sure you'll receive a better reception. Ofc if I'm wrong I'll delete this account. Carry on being dynamic.

I've found 2 minute timer is plenty of time. However i never go to the USA so don't know where you could hide fleets there. I'm more dynamic. Using just lineships is yet another lazy feature and will probly make 2 mins too short if your over the horizon. I'm usually more dynamic. Traders make amazing bait. People chase them outside the zone when you leave port in them. Weird I know. Kind of a little dynamic. Using a strong tank as bait and fast ships to reinforce might work for you. I doubt it. It's too dynamic. Ofc you will ignore me say I'm wrong and have no idea. And probably sit outside la Havana tomorrow in 6 lineships for an hour.

I change nothing I said. You go to a place full of newbs and pvers, sit still for an hour in all the same ships. You have the audacity to demand dynamic PvP, yet you turn up to a reinforcement zone in 6 lineship and sit still with them all on show. Simple truth is your being lazy. A simple bait with one ship would of had you your desired result in less than 20 mins. I could go on but I'll not linger. I won't talk about the tactic used in the fight as I don't know, I could guess how boring it was though. Top tip - You want dynamic PvP, be dynamic.

Dont go looking for consensual pvp at a capital zone. Strangely they will wait for a while for more people and some experienced people, as the first there are no doubt newbs. And if you don't move they have no need or want to tag you before you "escape" as they have all the time in the world if you sit there. Nothing new here really. Don't go insane repeating things expecting different results.

Looks more like USA is gathering players while you sit there letting them.

Random means cheap and large amount of ships people don't want (blue) get sold cheap to find their endevours of crafting a gold. Whilst also allowing a newby crafter to get a nice lift every now and again when they accidentally create gold. + I love buying these purple ships with random wood types that people think are worthless, so sell nice and cheap. Because woods people don't like, I love. So it's a win for me.

FIRST OF ALL who's martin? Second its open world. Maybe call it patrol zone but it's open world. There isn't any escaping if some people are waiting outside. Let's all be honest here. What would of happened immediately after that battle if BF damaged themselves fighting someone who clearly won't be their enemy after the battle. I mean havok definitely wouldn't of ganked them. Even if they weren't going to, their reputation would sure as hell make me think twice about going all out in a battle. It's a battle, you make decisions, you shouldnt have to engage every ship if you don't want to. Open world means actions in battle have consequences out of it.

How in god's name is fighting only certain nations in a battle exploiting. Never expect another nation who joins you in battle to help you, if anything expect them to leave or at the very least loot all the ships before you. OR expect them to kill you straight after that battle. To summarise, other nations are enemies. Even when pretending to be friends. P.s. git gud.

Your all wrong, I'm right kind of attitude. Brilliant conclusion to how herc is not op. Sail plans turning speed and acceleration isn't what makes it op. It's a shallow ship so it's expected to be good in those areas. However if your going to review it at least include how it's armour is op af. With its cannons. Not unbalanced , op, op, op. Just actually read the comments. It's to powerful as a shallow ship. Get rid while you can.

finally a reply from someone who doesn't just quote Frenchman about how amazing muskets even though you can only use them in boarding, making said quotes completely invalid. considering French tactic was to shoot all the officers on the deck when they closed in range. not that anyone memorable died this way, as apposed to nelson who got shot from boarding muskets that reloaded every 15 seconds. fyi, if I tell my crew to brace, why the hell do they decide to stand in the middle of the deck perfectly still in the line of sight of the marksmen, who seem to have carbines instead of muskets.

noone has ever or will ever use boarding perks, except maybe determined defender. And if they do, which they 100% dont, they should have some slight advantage over the fact that you have more ships to surround them with. Unless like most traders you use fir Indiamans with no cannons, in which case you deserve it.
