  1. its small battles returned, a room for a group of players to fight with no risk or reward

Leave the non-fatal buttons as is, for example in the fleet screen in port leave switch ship, Move to docks, but remove the Dismiss button and make it an option only if you right click the ship in the fleet screen. In the right click options also do not include Switch Ship and Move to docks... This will make those mistakes a much less common occurence.
  3. Paid over 50 for each account i have ... hmm i forget how many... But even though i have near 2000 hrs the game doesn't compare to any sub based game I have played or even cash shop like WoW or WoT.. I wish it dit.. well mebbe not the cash shop game, preferrably the sub game. I have subbed games for years at a time (very few) and I wish an age of sail game would come along to do the same. NA is far from it, and I cannot see it ever doing so, but what NA does do, it tries to do very well.
  4. Remove upgrade pocket.. there is no need anymore. It sure is nice now teleporting where i can sell them but come on... captains chest should stay, a captain does not lose his commendations whether he dies or not but the upgrade thing... yes its real nice but .. its not needed anymore.
  5. WInd in the OW will have no meaning if you make ships go faster into the wind.. If you are stuck with no room to tack, in 10 minutes you will be moving again... I don't know a way around it.
  6. About the only one I don't agree with is number 2, Open world wind mechanics, .... Tack.

    Lost connection...

    I managed to get back in after probably 10 minutes, my bellona was still afloat but less than 50% crew. Just after i left battle, (i had to retreat) I was disco'd again, the same thing though much shorter this time I was back in the game within 5 mins. Then it was fine after that (so far)
  8. Just now, and cannot get back in... Probably lost my bellona as I was in a mission lining up for that final broadside to end it.. when nothing responded. Running connection test now but its been running minutes. Never been disconnected before...

Now hang on, if we add these little markers on the sides of the screen, its not doing anything for you except relieving you of having to sit there and spin the view over and over, you still have to watch the screen for the marker to appear. I really do not think it adds anything to the game forcing the player to be constantly spinning the view.

  14. We give the orders by tapping keys, guess we could add voice commands to do the same.. i think someone once was working on something like that for NA
  15. As the captain of a ship it is not his responsibility to be the first to spot other sails on the horizon. I'd like to suggest a spotter mechanic/marker be added. Now this could be affected by mods or books too, but i'd like to suggest ships have a 'lookout' that will automatically mark the edge of the screen in the direction of the sail. Now range could be boosted/shrunk with weather and mods, and books. I'd also suggest that the actual player have the slight edge even with max mods and upgrades. The screen markers should not indicate anything more than a contact, not that it is friend or foe etc. Leave them at the edge of the screen as to not mess up the beautiful view and as an option for players to disable. On a long voyage it gets tiresome spinning the view all the time, and that isn't the captain's job afterall.

Hah as for the drops the most frustrating part of the game now is looting sinking ships... its no longer about sinking them its about trying to plan it so u can be in a position to loot and the new wind in instances does its best to make that impossible for you. The one thing that makes me rage in game right now is the loot mini game fighting this new spinning wind. I expect to sink ships, it does nothing for me... I get satisfaction from looting them, which happens maybe 1 out of 3... hmm does that make sense? I think not... something is wrong.
  18. Its not lots of boredom... if having to do a 500k mission 8 times is hard... u need to try some korean grinding mmo's.... I think exp and cash come too easy now...
  19. and the pvp'ers are making gold at the same time, mebbe not much for the gankers... But as it stands a gank pvp mark is worth the same as a non gank. - (an under crewed tbrig is worth over 600k in pvp marks? wtf ) So they have the cash as well, and they are selling pvp marks for over 200k each.. they CAN afford ships. So why give them ships magically spawned... Another idea... allow crafters to trade crafted items for combat marks...
  20. Its not for me, its for the new player. It could also be the secene of the tutorials when they arrive. Though some captains did invest in gunnery practice. Though I wouldn't mind a chance to try the mortar brig in a port style setting before embarrassing myself in a PB...
  21. Low priority but perhaps handy for release. A gunnery range in a port setting. Forts, tower etc and perhaps stationary non-shooting back AI ships for players to practice gunnery, etc... Could be useful in a tutorial settings as well.
  22. well i dunno all the mechanics, but can't other players from the nation hostilities have been started against start tagging ai fleets in the area to combat the hostility? I may not completely understand the mechanics...
