  1. Ashame that one had to ruin what was a good evening of patrol zone PvP, plenty of battles, no one being salty and seemed everyone was enjoying it as we all kept bumping into eachother in the next battle. All his actions really did was waste our time by chasing him but also the other PvP players who were having to wait for us to finish that battle. Problem is not sure what can be done, maybe fellow clan members can speak with them??
  2. People speaking about RvR, and I keep hearing that its now easier for smaller clans to take part in port battles, but i'm trying to work out how the latest update with hostility is helping smaller clans be able to set up a port battle. I think it was trashed privateer that mentioned a great idea with hitting AI fleets that would add up to the required battle rating for the port, because this new update has in no way helped smaller clans/ groups be able to go out and grind hostility. Find a fun way to set up PB's for the small clans/nations and I'm sure that will push people towards that side of the game, as of right now its a grind no one wants to participate in.
  3. Also another annoying feature when it comes to trading is there only seems to be one way trades to be down. For example take something from a random port to a capital port sell for profit then return with empty ships, I wish this could change, delivery missions should be picking something up at one port taking it to another, once you get there pick up another delivery missions and away you go again. Not find the stuff needed and bring it to that port!!
  4. Maybe the case is that trading needs to have better rewards, theres only a few ports you can actually go to and trade to make a profit which are mainly the Capital ports. This should be looked at and changed possibly?
  5. Glad this post has started a debate, I just feel there is no rewards in trading right now as much more gold can be made easier without the risk of losing it, trading attracts different types of players. More traders could result in more people sailing around hoping to intercept them instead of sitting outside of a free town, then jumping in and out looking for an opportunity to gank someone. This could then bring a part of the game where players looking for PVP could get paid to protect the trade ship and I'm sure while out with them will find PvP from others trying to sink the traders. The thought behind it is that it "could" open up a lot of different areas of the game.
  6. Just going to keep this short, and put a suggestion out there which could help the trading side of the game or get more people trading. I just feel with the amount of Gold that can be made with the Missions, especially Fleet missions there is no point in getting in a trader and taking the risks on potentially losing your loot. 3 fleet missions and boom there's around $1m in gold depending on the mission and the amount of Kills/Assists you made. What I would like to see is a complete drop in the amount of gold that can be made in these Missions, to the point where your just covering your costs of entering the missions, I.E costs of repair and crew. This way missions would be used to gain XP and find Upgrades needed for your ships, trading would be your main source of earning gold, which may help grow the player driven side of trading. This is just an opinion of mine, maybe it would help who knows, but thought id share. Happy sailing
