  1. Muahaha! Bring it on rats. You may have found out my plan, but you've missed one crucial detail.. Do you remember who came up with the idea of using Master Baiter to sit in the battle outside Savannah? Why do you think the brits made that huge sail to "help" screen Savannah? Putting some of our best ships at the time at risk? For what? We knew the US fleet of a handful of SOLs and 4h-5th rates had no chance of taking you on in PB. That's why we cleverly sent in one of ours to convince you all to use Master Baiter. It was all a genius plan. Send out a fleet of ours for screening, making the odds much much harder for the pirates. Get the them to bypass all the screeners so none of ours are at risk and the pirates take the port. But the icing on the cake? The tribunal.... It wasn't a part of our plan, but boy did it come through. We thought if the devs found it all our work would be for nothing. But all it did was anger the US even more, knowing that the port was taken by such trickery. And the punch in the face to US? 2 week ban for the alt Now with the US completely demoralized, we were easily able to cuck them into giving us the gulf for "protection". As for the pirates? They get Savannah, but as a result everyone absolutely despises them and GB gets the US ports, putting us on the map again as a superpower. With the US done and everyone ganging up on the Pirates, its only a matter of time before GB sweep the map for her majesties crown. Congratulations rats, you've played yourselves.
  2. Using an alt to interfere with a PB isn't wrong and against the rules according to devs and confirmed by Tribunal which is uh hur hur, exactly what happened at Savannah confirmed by evidence, testimony and logs? Reality check: (it is) which d are you?
  3. Ah, my mistake haha. Yes downwind at around the 135 mark, endy speed is unmatched and will catch any ship running in that angle. Its not the solo PVP beast that the suprise is, but its an extremely valuable ship to have in a group, and fits its role better than any other ship atm.
  4. I was mostly referring to Savannah when I posted the Tribunal regarding Savannah. Which was indeed an alt exploit, and is the reason why so many noobs are getting ganked in US capital waters. Again, idk what you're getting at with the rest of your post. No one expected anything from west end besides a regular PB that a youtuber could show off the game with. It's kind of common sense that you would show up to defend, no one was surprised there. Stay on topic please, we get that the pirates are the "masterminds" of PVP global, but this is about new players getting ganked in what should be relatively safe areas, in where I pointed out that this is a result of Savannah, a capital port being taken by exploit, confirmed by tribunal in this link (last time I'll post it) http://forum.game-labs.net/topic/21456-port-battle-fleet-using-possible-alt-to-hide-in-battle-screen/
  5. Surprise is something like 1.5knts slower base speed than the Endy and isn't as suited for tagging upwind
  6. I tagged you, because I'm quoting you and responding to you. also.. "The port was not lost because of an exploit." read the Tribunal again: http://forum.game-labs.net/topic/21456-port-battle-fleet-using-possible-alt-to-hide-in-battle-screen/
  7. Um....... it was an exploit? Did you read the tribunal? Interfering PB with an alt is....infact....an exploit.... Idk what you're getting at here in the rest of your post
  8. You say that like the Endymion isn't already the best upwind tagger in game, and can not only easily catch any ship that isn't a suprise/schooner, but keep them in battle as well with its bow chasers.
  9. you mistake me for trying accuse you personally for using the alt, or to insult your clan and your skills. There is no need to defend yourself in that regard. I'm simply pointing out where the problem lies, that capital that have been taken are the FOB for noobs getting ganked in capital waters. Capital ports that where taken by exploit, should've been given back promptly. Now thats its a bit late for that, the only option the nations have is to either use exploits/find a new loophole for their own, or to spend tons of hours in game, and money in game to attrition the occupants out.
  10. a SLIGHT turn rate increase would be alright. The Endy is already meta enough, doesn't need anymore buffs
  11. No one complains that you took the port, they complain because you EXPLOITED to take the port, and the devs did nothing but ban the alt for 2 weeks
  12. IMO original exploits used to roll US and GB capital ports ruined both of those nations and is why we're having the problems we have today. I said it from the beginning and I'll say it again, devs should've reversed the damage done there and stopped it in its tracks before it got out of hand. Now noobs are getting ganked in capital waters and there is nothing either nation can do to get those ports back aside from sending multiple waves of 1st rate fleets to die until the enemy is weak enough to be dealt with, which would take weeks, possibly months and require hundreds of hours of in game time.
  13. I'd like to see a leaderboard for your clan only. Anything else promotes stat padding for clout
  14. It would be fairer if no one could do it. I think devs realize this is a problem but they simply chose to not punish anyone for that one circumstance, we'll probably see some "fixes" to PB mechanics here soon
  15. I shouldn't have to mention this, but US did show up to Savannah in massive numbers ready to defend, but this happened.
  16. Is there a cap on how thick armor can be? Or how much HP you can make your ship? floating battery+bridgetown+elephant
  17. More like if devs cared about US health, they'd return Savannah back from the exploit. If the pirates had integrity they'd leave Savannah, come back and take the port properly
  18. The job of a screener is one of great sacrifice, but its the greatest honor one can serve to their nation. The job of the screener is to go into battle with impossible odds, and do everything they can do damage/slow down the enemy so the main fleet has a better chance against the opposition. No, its not very fun. Your entire screening force may sink while taking out but a few of the enemies ships. But those few few ships can be the difference between a won and lost port. This is why screening is so important, without it there is no such thing as defensive advantage. No regional logistics matters when the battle is only dependent on 25 of the perhaps 100 players who have come out to help defend the port. Without screening every 26+ man defending a port is useless. Imagine if there were 300 people per nation, but only 25 could actually do anything to defend the capital port? RVR would be a hopelessly tragic and boring affair
  19. ---Every PB forced into 25v25 against a enemy with better ships, more experience, and better teamwork. -------Everyone loses ships because nothing else decides the PB besides that 25v25 which they'll lose every time. -------------Everyone quits because there is no way around this. "Won't fix the actual problems with the nations as a whole" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) you guys
  20. Neither scenario is plausible because screening is griefing, numbers shouldn't dictate an engagement, and hiding a fleet in battle to sneak into PB is a legitimate tactic in Naval Warfare. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
  21. -Uses fleet hiding exploit with alt to sneak into PBs, ----Devs tell them no that's wrong don't do that ----------Use fleet hiding exploit again without an alt ---------------Devs turn a blind eye ----------------------continue using fleet hiding exploit to take capital ports ----------------------------"fair fights guiz" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) rats
  22. "Weak screening force" -Can't put up a screening force of their own, charges in their main fleet instead. -----main fleet gets chained and bogged down by 75 frigates. -------------complain that screening is griefing. --------------------literally exploits into pb. ----------------------------everyone says exploiting is wrong. ------------------------------------------"Numbers shouldn't dictate who wins" -----------------------------------------------------keeps attacking capital ports instead of the lower pop ones ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) never change pirates
  23. Pirates need a new game for themselves so they can have their fair 25v25 fights. Something that doesn't require strategy, logistics, or a OW.
  24. Texas, you know I love ya man. But see, using mass numbers to keep a fleet out of PB is much different than using invisibility to get in. One has a reasonable and realistic premise, the other is a complete gamey exploit. Naturally in ALL warfare its never a even fight. Imagine a total war campaign where you wanted to march an army from Greece to take Rome. Do you think you're just going to get a completely even full stack v full stack battle? No, they're gonna send every army in Italy, big or small to attack you and wear you down before you get to the siege. You know why this can happen? Because you didn't work your way there, so they can move tons of armies from all around to attack you. Basically what you guys want is for every battle to be a 25v25 flip of the coin style because you know you can win that way. This isn't Naval Action Legends. That's why no one really likes BLACK. You guys defend this and belittle others because they don't play the way you do when that's actually NOT how the game was meant to be played. Yes you win, but you ruin the game for everyone else who wants to play fairly. It's kinda selfish :/
