Yes indeed i have a screenshot just before the battle where those 5 people were in battlegroup along with the other 15 no the bulk of the battlegroup was sitting there for an hour (we were expecting that the enemy PB fleet would be hiding in battle) except a couple late arivals that came last 10 minutes

FYI this is not the battle i'm talking about .. this screenshot is correct and it function as intended .. i'm talking about only 5 of our guys being pulled in battle when they were next to the other 15 in the same battlegroup did i mentioned anything about exploit? i'm talking about the battle right before this one where like i said only 5 people from a 20ppl battlegroup were pulled in from our side .. all this while all of the people there were literally on top of eachother (so no question about some being outside the circle)

Hi so as far as i know when there is 20 people in a battlegroup and they are attacked then all of them get draged in the battle (as long as they are in the circle) correct? how is it possible that from 20 people in battlegroup that were within 1 ship length of distance (to the point that you can't make out how many and what kind of ships) only 3 were pulled in battle? is it a bug or i'm missing something?

Having been in a similar situation i have to agree with EDR's point of view if there is a matter of national interest going on (like the capture of a port wich was indeed the case here) and some clan actively helping the enemy (attacking allied nations) i would in fact drop in the battle and if the fellow brit refuses to let the allied nation go after being warned i would use chain to help the allied nation escape .. and as long as this would not sink the green ship i see no reason for complains .. if you attack allied nations/clans then you are clearely against the nation
  7. @Ink I have to revive this post since nothing has been done to adress the issue you know before the wipe months ago when you aim with the mortar brig you had the white circle on water (that we still have) and when you moved the aim on land it became some sort of a red light showing the location where the mortar will hit .. this has been removed and now it is very difficult to hit a tower/fort that is deep in the land .. even judging wether you are in range or not is difficult could we please have the red targeting "dot" back?
  8. my system is : Win 7 64bit motherboard : B150M-HD3 DDR3-CF CPU : i3-6098P Ram : 8GB DDR3 at 1600mhz HD : Sandisk ultra 240GB SSD GPU : Gigabyte Nvidia GT 730 2GB DDR5 at 5000Mhz and 902 enginge clock it's not overclocked (i even tried to underclock both memory and engine clock but without any improvement) the GPU is running at 48-50 degrees celcius and cpu at 40-43C while the game is running Oh and i have not installed the HDMI audio coz i'm using headphones plugged in the motherboard's audio jack and using VGA cable for the monitor
  9. yes i have tried installing different versions of the driver and selecting the "clean install" when installing it

So ever since the Unity 5 update my game has been randomly crashing displaying only black screen sometimes kicking me out to desktop but i can still hear the sound of the game running the cannons firing etc.. and even though i see the game in the task bar when i try to alt-tab to it (or switch from the task manager) it doesn't appear ocasionally when i'm getting out to destop fast enough i see a pop-up message that the Nvidia kernerl driver has crashed and recovered .. this never happened before the unity 5 update and now it's happnening atleast 5 times per day completly randomly sometimes few times in a row both in battle and OW and the only thing i can do is end process from task manager and relogin fast the nvidia popup reads "Display driver Nvidia Windows Kernel Mode Driver Version *numbers numbers* stopped responding and has successfully recovered"
  11. ok so i was told we are supposed to grind the xp on Indiaman and LGV normally as with the other ships .. but seeing as the Indiaman is considered a 4th rate and LGV 5th rate and 99% of those ships are made of fir/fir this would be very hard could we pls get all slots unlocked on those ships as before the unit 5 upgrade? thanks
  12. this is not the first time... there is obviusly a way to get those kind of ships .. and i want it investigated .. is that bad? can't hurt to have the devs look at it if everything is in order but if everything is NOT in order it will hurt quite a lot of ppl F11 has already been done repeatedly
  13. Did i say that all pirates are cheating? i don't think so.. but as this was captured from a pirates player i'm pretty sure i'm in my rights to point that out ..
  14. it's not an UI bug .. i've calculated the value and it's consistent with both teak AND white oak planking active it has both bonuses merged

  16. i'm afraid that is NOT the case coz the redeemable indef is live/white oak .. and this is clearely teak.. so it's not a redeemable

Hello .. a friend of mine has just captured a ship from a pirate player near mortimer town only to find out that it's mad of 3 kinds of woods!!! and crafted by no-one i feel that having a ship made of a certain frame type and 2 different plankings which gives you advantages from both is cheating... and before you say it's just a display bug .. i've done the calculations .. both plankins are in effect this is not the first time we see this on pirate ships .. but now we have proof (attached bellow) i will provide more information - screenshots on request
  18. Both my indiamans and LGV are NOT unlocked .. they have 0 XP in them which is strange.. pls fix this
  19. yes i know mate .. i had them unlocked before but now they are gone after yesterday's update
  20. i have just noticed that all my slots (and xp) is gone on all my trade ships i don't know if this is happening to other people as well

While invastigating the issue PLEASE remove the annoying crash reports .. the 3 minutes it takes the game to send them have almost cost few players thier ships.. get rid of it.. give an option to send it manually at a later time (when the battle is over) when the game crashes in the middle of the battle you need to be able to get back there as soon as possible to save your ship .. not have the game sending damn crash reports for minutes while your ship is sailing to its doom
  22. ok so i have just entered the testbed server and i'm relieved to see that it works even beter now i'm getting 22-25 FPS so i've set it to 15/15 and increased the water quality to medium (which makes my speed much more noticable and easier to sail in a way)
  23. i have just made more tests using the task manager and resource monitor the CPU usually stays between 9-20% with the occasional spike to 40-50% while the game is running both the CPU and GPU stay reletively cool as i already said even tho the GPU seems to operate on a 100% .. i have tried to overclock it slightly without any major improvent (maybe 2 fps or so) so i gave that up i also checked my internet usage , it's completely normal and i get a 1.2mb/s download speed it's a fresh install of windows 7 and completely clean so viruses aren't the issue here it's just the GPU apparently oh and the drivers i'm using are the latest from nvidia too another thing i've noticed is that the game is using only 1.7-2.3GB of ram (with the whole system consuming 2.5GB-3GB of ram while the game is running out of my 8GB ) could it be that the game isn't getting enough ram since my steam folder is installed in the x86 program files folder ? if so how do i run it it in x64?

I have done all this mate I built the system less than a year ago myself and nothing is overheating .. the gpu stays well below 60C and the cpu rarely exceeds 45C i have no other programs running when i open naval action except steam and realtek audio .. no antiviruses or any of that BS it's a completely clean OS

Hi guys My game has been running unreasonably slow (IMO) for the system i've got and i was wondering if any of you with comparable PCs could confirm the slow performance i'm usually running at 12-14 FPS at 1920x1080 on lowest settings .. if i switch to 1600x900 then i get 16-18FPS So my system specs : Motherboard : Gigabyte B150M-HD3-DDR3 CPU : i3-6098P 3.6 Ghz (skylake) Ram : Crucial Balistx sport 4GB+4GB (dual channel kit) at 1600Mhz GPU : Geforce GT 730 (2GB GDDR5 verison) (yes i know i should had bought a proper GTX but couldn't afford one) SSD : Sandisk Ultra 2 240GB (my windows 7 and naval action are located on this) Previously i had the DDR3 version of the graphics card so i tried to upgrade to the ddr5 version but didn't see any improvent.. i was expecting that i would get to say 20 FPS Does anyone have any GPU similar to mine ? coz i would expect to get a lot more FPS from this .. the game doesn't look so GPU demanding on low settings.. i mean other games run very smooth with higher graphics also i've tried to use the cpu's internal graphics for a time and that was giving me 9-11 FPS Also i would like to ask if i will still be able to play the game when it moves to unity 5? or will it be even slower? thanks in advance
