  1. Would it be possible to disable the ai from shooting at forts. They move close to the beach to shoot at towers and forts and get stuck on the beach and cannot get off the beach and renders it impossible to loot them without getting beached.
  2. @admin Will unlearnt books, unused ship refits, ship matts, rare mats (cartagena tar, swedish carpenters, diplôme de l'école d'artillerie etc), trade goods (versailles terracotta etc.), combat marks, pvp marks and victory points also be ported over as redeemables? Also it seems that not all will be ported, what specifically will not be ported over? Thank you
  3. Most people seem to forget that you can still play on pvp1, pvp2 and pve server without issues...
  4. People, give the devs a break. They are hoping to complete by the time they give but issues arise and they have to be dealt with. Wiping the game is a major event. If we get bugs and crashes post wipe people will really get annoyed and some may quit. It is best to put the additional effort to complete the product correctly. There will be bugs but the majority of those should be fixed. The issue with projects of this magnitude is that you can plan as much as you wish but then unforeseen issues arise and they have to be dealt with and this takes time. Also, this is a game, not a life and death piece of software. It is springtime for many of us, enjoy the outdoors and life outside NA!
  5. 1. This would be great as having a pb 46 hours later makes planning a task is too far off for many players. Also, once you triggered the pb there is nothing to do. Also many players got fed up of grinding. If you want to keep the grinding then make the battle open for the entire duration if the battle is used to increase hostility so that we can find the enemy and get some pvp. The 5 minute timer made it impossible to find the missions and engage causing us to do more pve missions to counter grind which was very boring and became a chore that no one wanted to do. 2. The way to do this is to increase the cost for each flag based on the number of regions the nation has (a bit like outpost and dockyards). This will make it fair for smaller nations. 3. See 1 above 4. Keep the pb but make points accumulation slower as now we do not even have time to kill the ennemy if we are outnumbered
  6. A few comments 1. The ports around the capital that cannot be captured along with the admiralty store provide all that is needed to make ships. You will need to purchase the specialty woods but the port arrangements now make it possible for any nation, even down to its capital region, to craft ships. 2. At times, nation ships are invisible when they exit ports but not pirate ships! 3. There is now an abundance of enemy fleets to sink to grind hostility 4. Ai ships are super powered in speed, agility and rate of fire
  7. Santi 2nd slot (37400xp) needs slot 4 pavel 3rd rate 3rd slots (42840xp!) needs slot 4 aggie Aggie slot 3 (21750) needs frigate slot 5 I figure you will have made 10 rear admiral/curse if not more by the time you unlock all slots on all ships!
  8. Slamz, what i meant is that a tp (player not ship or cargo) to a national port is not a good idea. If a Spanish player sets up an outpost in Penzacola he can tp there and sail around with almost impunity as few will be around to challenge him. What is his advantage to trade in a zone that is near ennemy territory. Also, no one will sail all the way there to challenge him. This will result in low to little pvp.
  9. With the current player base (PVP2 for example) I am afraid this would hurt the game. Also, if everyone can tp to a national port then it will further diminish PVP since the PVP happens around FP. If you want to solve the ganking issue, give a 2-5 minute countdown to tp to a free port. If you allow tp to national ports then players will TP to and sail from the national ports and nobody will be around those to create PVP. So this will put a nail on coffin of PVP. Also if delivery from FP is removed, there will be no reason to use FP. So PVP will further suffer. For PVP you need to have a central gathering point and a reason for people to congregate there (ie. delivery etc.) With a lower player base like on PVP2 no one wants to wait outside a national port for maybe someone to sail out of it! Also, anyone leaving the national port will be able to spot the hunter and hide into the port or sail near the port to be protected by the forts etc. So end result is that people will get frustrated with endless sailing with no PVP thus rendering the PVP servers into PVE servers. IMO tp to FP should be maintained and what should be removed is TP to national ports. This will force the congregation of players at FP as is now the case!
