Will we be compensated for our ships with redeemables or anything else? I have no problem with wiping EVERYTHING and starting with a totally fresh and even playing field, but that's NOT what's being done here if ONLY ships are being wiped. Players who can already craft good ships are barely going to be affected, and people like myself, who havent put time into crafting XP, or stockpiling money+resources are going to be screwed. I don't play this game to make trade spreadsheets, or to stare at crafting menus, I play this game for the historical ships, sailing, and combat; and I've put countless hours into buying, trading for, and collecting good ships and upgrades. I put all my in-game currency+resources into buying and trading for ships+upgrades; i have almost no money, resources, or crafting XP, so if I loose my ships i'll have nothing left to play for. Breaking my Gold 2nd rates, 3rd rates, and frigates down to parts so i can build brigs and cutters isn't going to do it for me, and I'm not going to grovel to the 1%er high crafting XP players just so i can get some decent ships back. I hope the devs will please consider what this update (with no compensation for ships) will do to players like myself who have put a lot of time into this game but aren't heavily invested into the crafting side.
