  1. I did intend UA - So much potential... loving beta and cant wait until release.
  2. Excited for progress, but looking forward to release. I have always enjoyed having custom units like UGCW and keeping them through the game. To do so with this game will be a lot more enjoyable than random missions, so I cant wait. As mentioned above, the supply wagons need work in this scenario, or left out all together. AI is good to move towards weak points. Any slight opening and they concentrate. Definitely better than UGCW at the same progress of its development. (.5 .7 etc)
  3. This whole template of a game would be one of the most enjoyable pirate games ever made...
  4. love the idea- that's one of the things I liked with the early x-wing and tie-fighter games. You could see your uniform and medals. Likewise with Afghanistan 11 as mentioned.
  5. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=952988478 Well, maybe not official, but it would be cool to get a sticky and share our endgame results.
  6. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=941458112 On major general, I was a little worse off. It is certainly doable, just hang to the trees.
  7. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=947545043 it is doable - hold a strong line, cover your flanks and back your lines up with artillery. I used several groups of carbine Calvary.
  8. on MG mode, it seems that no matter how badly I beat an enemy, they are reinforced substantially. I have played through Shiloh and after each battle (they suffer crushing defeats) they get 10k or more men. I went from facing an army of ~35k men to now ~65k men right after Shiloh. Is this as intended?
  9. Since the AI almost always presses the attack, I will let them break themselves by the waves upon my defenses if it is a good spot to defend in cover. I do not chase men out into the open. So basically, it comes down to if you are taking damage or not...
  10. I do not like the new map edges that are cut off or out of view for the camera - the battle mentioned, as well as Shiloh and others you cannot even see your troops to move them since you cannot see all the deployment zone. I have had this also mess with reinforcements as I can see them on the mini map, but not the large map. This is the only glaring issue with the patch. AI is indeed better, and scaling seems to be better too.
  11. I just noticed this yesterday - friendly fire is a thing. I had melee Calvary attacking enemy units backed up with some mounted skirmishers and noticed that every time I fired, my melee took several hits. Is this a new addition? I hadn't noticed FF before...
  12. so far so good - only keeping 1 corps and build a new 2 corps for each grand battle. I can tell the side missions are more manageable, but obviously notice no difference in grand battles.
