  1. I'm not too sure what these numbers mean. But I think it's strange that only at 1 degree the smaller gun shoots farther. What's the magic of 1 degree? Other than that you spent a lot of words to show that more powder means a bigger bang which is not too surprising.
  2. First I want to say that I enjoy this game very much and do not regret a single cent spent on it. Im currently playing the Union campaign on easy. Still I would like to suggest something that makes the battles more realistic from a roleplay point of view. There has to be a point to some of the objectives and some setups don't make sense. For example I was doing pretty good on the first day of Shiloh. Contrary to what the text said I was holding all my points and was wearing down the enemy quite good. I would have held out and mopped the floor with the confederate soldiers with the reinforcements from the second day. Instead I was placed in the Landing although there was hardly anyone left to attack me there. I would have preferred to stay in field and be reinforced there. Alternatively It could have been explained by to play a cut scene where night falls on the battlefield and my army securely retreats to the landing. Then last night I just barely won Gaines Mill in the third attempt. Although it doesn't make much sense the key to victory was to abandon the defenses and take a last stand on the hill. When there was only half an hour left on the clock I made a desperate all out attempt and went for the lost victory point at the stockade securing it and clinging to it for another ten minutes. I was quite happy with the result but is seemed a bit off. I mean I would have lost the entire map within the next hour in that situation. So why did the battle end then and I was the victor? Again there could be something like a cut scene where night falls and the confederate soldiers fall back and abandon the attack. What do you think?
  3. What I find very important and hardly ever mentioned is the option to pause the game. I watched a lot of videos and hardly ever see someone using this very useful option.Quite often I saw let's plays with the player failing to notice the reinforcement flags or enemies popping up in the way of cavalry. If you want to take a look around the battlefield or search for some stray units, simply pause the game. Also you can give complex orders to several units while being paused. There is no need to lose men somewhere on the map because you were busy somewhere else.
