As we had the old crafting system people were whining about the lot of items that had to build before you‘re able to finally craft the ship
now people are whining they want the old system back („Do you know in former times, everything was better🤓).
Hey Admin people like whining! So punish them 🥊

Make the Mortar Brigg important again. Increase the range of mortars.
By now the Mortar Brigg is a totaly useless ship.
If the range of mortas will be increased over the range of guns on towers/forts, the Mortar Brigg can then be again an additional tactical Instrument in port battles.
As the kill of towers and forts doesn't gain high points, it will not be the meta than it was in old times but a tactical weapon against the "gold-S-Wood" metaships.
The damage model of a mortar should be:
Towers and Forts:
- Mortar strikes reduces number of active canons
- Mortar strikes causes damage on the building
- Mortar strikes kills crew, the lower the crew on towers/forts, the higher the reload time
Ships:
- Mortar strikes reduces number of active canons
- Mortar strikes causes damage on masts
- Mortar strikes causes damage on ship structure
- Mortar strikes kills crew

Every time the same.
Remember George Orwell: "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others"

Actually under Sweden. It is you that provide nice hostillity missions, right outside CS.
Yep looks like Russia think of the health of small pop nations. So DK-NG own them our gratitude. Maybe Sweden could be inspired by Russia.
And best way to repay them is ofc screen for them, when ever they fight Sweden, and since we don't hold any port of value, we don’t have to waist time defend Er på pb’s
DK-NG allways pays our debt.
Russia tries only to copy the protected area at Mosquito.
By the way denmark had a save area, as long as the rabid dogs bited the protector. -
This is a clear "Pay to Win" suggestion!
Think before you write.

Why couldn't you return?
Tag through the wind, sail away, repair, come back and hack him down. Where is the problem? Your screenshot shows only normal game mechanics.
By the way - if you have to repair very fast, klick "6" and "7" so you get more Crew in repair and maybe survive.

This is not correct, BR only drops when a player with a quite low rank sail a ship with a crew that over exceed the current max crew of the rank.
My Alt had at this time a low rank, therefore this lowered the BR.
Thx for clearing

I think BR and Crew are Not connected, its the rank (or max-crew you can have) that is connected to the BR. In testings months ago i was Not able to lower my BR on Ships by reducing Crew.
Crew and BR are connected.
I recognized this two weeks ago with my trading Alt. The Alt sailed with two Indias (both 60crew), was tagged by an enemy Trinc. Battle BR on battle cross in open world signed less than 100BR on the swedish side. Normaly one Indiaman has a BR of 140. I expeted 280BR on the swedish side against 260 on the enemy side. As I arrived with my main account to engage the trinc after the battle, I could easily join after 5 min because of the lower BR on the side of my Alt.

Devs are saying nothing.
Be sure, if this will not be regulated, it will get a big disaster for the game.

And yet you're begging so hard for peace that my socks are wet and I'm not even british!
Total rubbish!
Sweden offered peace, Brits do not want peace, so we will attac them further.

It's so useless.
We sent the Brits a message for RVR Peace, they don't want to accept it and multiflipped us again togehter with russia. The message is clear, Brits want RVR-War against Sweden.
Nothing more.
See you all in next portbattles

I disagree, the basic cutter is a warship somehow and should therefore not be able to enter enemy ports. They are too often used for reconnaissance, if they can escape in enemy towns, it would be too much.
A better explanation how economy missions work, that only traders can enter enemy ports would be a nice thing. It should be written in the mission text.
Maybe a clear Information in ShipLog would help the newbies. Something like: "You're vessel is a war ship you can't enter closed enemy ports" and "You're vessel is a trading ship you can enter every port"

Survived a running battle to the edge of the circle of death and dropped the bellona's foremast outside of it, he had already burned a rep. The l'ocean followed us out so I just chained and maneuvered.
It was very simple. My Bellona nearly wasn't dmaged in hull and structure, Potemkin's last shot on my hull was commented by him with only one word "jesus" because he didn't cause damage. As I followed him otuside the circle, he hit 2 - 3 times the foremast and it dropped. Potemkin managed to outplay the Ocean who tried to hold him ouside the shrinkin zone The wind was against me, so I couldn't get back to circle and died with nearly full HP. Ocean couldn't get back because of chains and shrinkin Zone.
It was a fine tactic of Potemkin and to much greed onm my side
