  3. Hi Guys, @admin and @Ink, EDIT by 09.10.19: Being in a big Clan and enjoying all the benefits it gives to you, i still stand to my proposal ! Thinking about every argument possible, i still believe its up to now the best idea for a compromise to the welfare of all: - big clans keep their well deserved advantage cause they captured, invested heavily in infrastructure and most importantly, constantly defend their home territory ! - smaller clans and solo Players who cant make it all to the friendlist, can use the benefits of Ports BUT have to pay their share when crafting good ships via the tax system ! ...and contribute to the effort of the owning clan by every ship they build there ---> this way Port Bonusses are no problem anymore and can stay like they are (or even increased again to their initial numbers) following Idea to bring the small clan/solo Players interests in line with the ones of bigger clans regarding PORT BONUS: 1. Whoever builts a Shipyard in a Port gets the Port Bonus 2. To give the clan which built up the Port Infrastructure a compensation for their hard work, the Clan Leader set up a CRAFTING TAX in the range of 10% - 100% of the crafting ingredients necessary to build a specific ship ! 3. In order to build a Ship, everyone not in clan or on its friend list, needs the usual amount of crafting materials + the CRAFTING TAX 4. Those excess crafting materials goes directly into the clan warehouse ! Problem solved ! 1. Small Clans and Solo Players can also craft themselves fine Ships without the need to get on the specific Clan Friend List (...and stay on there...) 2. Clans can get this way their immense investment back and/or can get help for further investments into the Ports infrastructure Cheers Edit (06.09.19): One argument not mentionend until this point in the discussion, just stroke my mind: If a change would come like suggested, ALL players in one nation would have again an incentive to take part in Port Battles eg. Screening because they want to defend their "own" Port, because they would loose all their mats already allocated in this Port and their upgraded Shipyard...same like the attacked Clan ! This means, NATION and Clans would get reunitated Nowadays, they take Part in Screening only because of national pride, but they risk either competitive ships bought from big clans for insane pricing or arent competitive in Screening because they take Part in non competitive Ships at all... ---> This would be again like it was 2 or 3 years ago when Ports had their distinctive advantages and the whole nation tried everything to defend the precious ones ! It was a NATIONAL task to defend and conquer those important regions...not just a task for a single clan...

Not the whole game should be built around the wishes of us Vets Especially when this means that the by all of us highly paid (with the loss of our Books and heavily grinded Knowledge Slot) and most needed influx of new Players will be countered by selfish salty PvPers, who will drive those new Players out of the game in days without large R - Zones ...and let us be crystalclear in this point: We can debate for the next 2 weeks over and over, that this will/would happen because of "evil Devs" has taken us away our shinies... @admin will not change his mind anymore nevertheless... if WE, the COMMUNITY, will drive the new Players literally with purpose out of the game, all our loss was for nothing !!!
  5. Which is a very strong argument for reinstallation of "R" - Zones !!! Honestly couldnt understand why they got removed because they were highly welcome to Traders/Haulers and new(er) Players aswell
  6. Great idea, so new people dont get hammered with obsolete suggestions and rants from the past from long gone iterations of the game client +1
  7. Even more simple: What about NOW before release, EVERYONE will get a reedemable which the clan leader has to redeem during next 10 days...otherwise clan get deleted during the next maintenance !!! This way, all inactive clans can get deleted from list before release and active clans will stay

Sadly i have to agree What i dont understand is the tactic, to promise things, then break it for maybe good reasons (craft, rank XP) but assure other things (Ship knowledge, BOOKS !!!), then cancel these promises again... Why cant they be clear from beginning ? Ah, nearly forgot: you can add another "broken" promiose to your list: "Everything on PvE - Server will stay " Dont misunderstand me: I am fine with a full wipe and have stated this in many posts BEFORE the Devs themself (finally) announced, that XP will be wiped... (for the sake of new players) But i cant understand why the Devs assured in this context NEW promises...which they now cancelled again
  9. Same to me for the loss ... but technical issues can and will happen, curious to see that it never happened to me on PvP - Server ... which is a good one because, lets be honest, progression lost on PvP is much worser than on PvE

  11. Hi Guys, cant log in to the PvE Server Server states "working" but there is no "Ping" and you cant log in Anyone with same issues?
  12. Dont forget we keep atleast our Books, which is absolutely enough for my taste...and those would be also lost if you create a complete new account
  13. Overall great news ! Just one thing to think about: Arent the heighleighted ones contradicting itsself ? When Clans can start their global conquest also from all those numerous free ports all over the map, we will not get this special frontline with coherent national ports, instead we will see many pockets of it I dont know which one is intended by the Devs, but i for myself would more like to see a global conquest like the island hopping of the US in WW2 Just my 2 cent

Look at the statements below, made on Page 27: (Sorry @rediii had to highlight again , no offense mate) Therefore i turned first mad when he made this statement... ...and later because i spent most of the night to get rid of my 10 ships in contract only to notice after wipe got installed, the contracts are still there But okay, its a wipe and so many things have to get looked at...maybe they just forgot it or forgot to tell us that they changed their mind after "my" complaints ... Hahaha
  15. Cool, me too studied first mechanical engineering (in Braunschweig btw.) before i went to the dark side of the moon... ...all fine, i was really upset because i didnt slept much this night, trying to store all my excess ships in contracts... ...will reduce it a bit

Obviously not...otherwise some people wouldnt be upset when you structure your comments so people who dont want to read the whole text, gets the most important parts on a glimpse ...btw letter casing is basic to grab attention and ofc we ALL want to grab attention with our comments...why would we post otherwise But to please @rediii which i respect the most, i will reduce the amount of "grabbing"...just for you mate But can we please get back on topic now ? Why did @admin a statement about wiping ship contracts, and didnt acted like this few hours later ? Could had saved me and many people i know some headaches and a lost night...

  19. Lol... @admin, are you just kidding us ?? YESTERDAY, you made the above mentionend statement and all Players who had still contracts running were struggling heavily to get them cancelled and to save the ships... NOW, AFTER the wipe, there are ALL the same ships in store which were there when servers shut down !!! NO ship contracts cancelled ! Contrary to your statement a few hours ago !!! ...if you had changed ypour mind, why not giving us a hint? Why making a statement and dont act like this a few hours later?
  20. Excactly So why deny "normal" people then the option to store some ships into the store ??? Not everyone have alts or even have 30 slots available on his main... This restriction doesnt make sense at all

I agree on this But again, Ships in store are different: There is no fixed number of ships slots allowed for everyone !!! - some have only 10 slots - others have all 20 - and some have the additional 10 slots by admirality DLC So, following this logic, putting ships in store isnt "gaming the game" because number of ships arent determinend ! ...instead of number of reals allowed which were set to 50.000 (and 100.000 with Clans, which is indeed gaming the game)
