L'Hermione was a French-built 12pdr frigate, and now has a modern replica under sail. If you search here or on the internet, you will find lots of material on the recent replica, which is true to her historical appearance. This is not yet in NA.
HMS Hermione was a British-built 12pdr frigate that mutinied and went over to Spain, who renamed her Santa Cecilia. She was then retaken by the British and renamed again as HMS Retribution. Possibly this will only be in the game as Santa Cecilia to distinguish from the French L'Hermione.
Both ships have similar firepower (main battery of 26x 12pdr), but the French L'Hermione is a larger ship.
Funny thing is that HMS Hermione was retaken by HMS Surprise, small world...

I know folks would like to hear out TS, however I don't record it. It's just my personal preference, I want folks relaxing and having fun and not getting a slapping for anything that they said in the heat of battle or with their guard down. There are other streamers who show TS. I just have my own personal position on this.
I understand your point but I just love hearing in replay John Swigglebottoms saying "Oh for F*** sake kill Tenakha Kan!" brings warm feelings to my heart

il etait full sail et je l'avais attrapé et soudain il s'est barré hyper rapidement
Sur des Frégates tu peux très bien reculer à 3-4 noeuds

Prater
Ok i understand more but the fast go back with win in back ?

nKa In this thread you have brits, french, swedes, dutch, pirates, Danes and US all saying there was no cheating maybe you should just listen to us and relax!
Also, please don't do something that you'll regret afterward like deleting everything on your account

brace vs brace make never 51 kill vs 1
OK means Outside kills: kills not done by the ship boarding but by other ships in the battle

I spoke with Louis XVI on TS. The 2 french who graped you were Elturican and Templar Phoenix who are in my clan. you had marines, Louis XVI didn't. He asked my 2 guild mates to grape you hence the OK kills. Having low morale, Louis XVI decided to disengage, raised his sails immediatly afterward and backed away from you.
Nothing out of the ordinary in my opinion

haha both are in my clan, Fouine is an inexperienced player, he obviously made every mistake in the book. Fantome is more experienced, he tried to seperate you from Fouine and got stuck into the wind (for a very very long time! ). Giving you a few free rakes...the rest is easy to predict.
Fantome actually enjoys fighting you and EliteDelta, he is using you both as sparring partners to improve. Unfortunatly he doesn't speak english :-)
Anyway, nice display of skills. The only way to learn is by trying and sometimes failing.

LOL, that was savage. Best fireshiper ever 10/10
I was the Santi, was Boarding John Swigglebottoms while sinking, got separated, reboarded him, capped him then my Santi exploded setting fire on his former Vic and killing most of my crew, managed to set sails in reverse with my 57 remaining guys and exploded again next to Sir Miles Brooks, oneshotting him

At least I took 3 of you with me and got to explode twice in 2 different ships

Can you tell more about this? Had I been home, I had a similar thought, thinking the fight desperate.
We managed to completly split the Dutch line and he exploded in the middle of us

Hats off to commanders on both sides, I was so impressed with the leadership and co-ordination across a number of nations, clans, I was also impressed by those who set foot into the turmoil of PB's for the first time on either side.
We may not have been happy with how these PB's were setup, the intent is debatable as to whether it was a gift of lovely PvP by the Danish led coalition or whether it was a strategic goal to finally stretch the Dutch alliance to the point of not being able to defend Bermuda. Maybe we can agree it was both....and from all accounts it was well fought and fought with dignity on the seas and in the chat forums by both sides.
Until the patch at least, there is a massive advantage to the defender...and advantage well taken by some excellent work today.
The intent at least for the french and me has always been to have fun :-) and fun I had, be it ferrying WS all day or fighting the pb

We had a few American in Bridgetown, one of them being really decisive by blowing up I might say. And think a few where at San Agustin. But indeed not their primetime yet.
