  1. Everyone seen on the video should either be banned or fully demoted.
  2. Rig / Hull Repairs - each fix 100 HP, in Open Waters it uses only that much it needs, in Battle Instance it consumes fixed ammount, if you open Repair menu on top left it shows how much it will consume, on top right it shows current supply in hold.
  3. I've got it covered but i don't uderstand why it used up 9 Rig Repairs for fixing roughly 35% sails on a Surprise in Battle Instance. Can we have "Admin" comment on this? As this might be some bug.
  4. How much % each Rig & Hull Repair can fix for each Ship Rank? Why i ask... I had 9 Rig Repairs, got demasted to 30-32% in battle, used Rig Repair which fixed sails to 67% (Rigging Specialist perk present). But it used all of my Rig Repairs (9). I have been sailing on Surprise.
  5. That doesn't Answer the Question. I wan't to change Wood / Planking of already crafted ship, not to craft one from scratch.
  6. At current version 10.0 - Is there a way to modify existing Wood / Planking on a ship you got? As i remember i've seen some admin posts about it.
  7. Ok. I just wonder how it wil work after updates (wipe/new crafting/skills). Cause there will be no difference between the ships in the fleet (if they are the same, have the same refit and build). Basicly only distinction will be on Sailing Skill's assigned to ship you are using... which might cause other fleet ships to slow you down (as they don't benefit from the skills).
  8. Few Problems: 1. There are lists of players created to organise PBs attacks, your idea will completely disorganise attacks as even newbie players will swarm battles in a need of materials, 2. You will limit creation of strategic materials like 'silver', 'gold', 'copper', 'compass wood', 'live oak' which will cause prices to sky-rocket, and some more organised groups could create complete monopoly of those materials. Not to mention Shipyards will need to be aquired aswell.
  9. There will be no way to organise coordinated attack on any Port... because every PB will be swarmed by material hungry zombie players.
  10. So i assume that PvE area won't produce any materials? Or we won't be able to transfer materials between PvE and PvP zones? Cause without it you will create a lot of carebears trading only in PvE area and sending mats to Free town's by delivery system.
  11. If you have fleet active (1-2 ships) what is the Open Waters speed calculation? 1. Is it speed of the slowest ship in the whole fleet? 2. Or is it some average of all ships in the fleet? D.

Feature works well... with one exception: You cannot send a ship which is currently "selected" (cant right click it), so if you want to send it you either need to: - select other ship first (if you have it in this port) - buy basic cutter and "select it" - or teleport to other outpost and back again so the ship you want to "Tow" is not "selected" All of the above options suck...
  13. Map overview of Ports show hostility in the bottom part, but if few nations raise hostility at the same time you can see only one or two. You can't see the third value. Not mentioning that it does not update properly, often people do not know what's the current value of hostility.
  14. Ok. So 'Pirate Refit' bonus would be useless on small ships like Cutter, Lynx, Privateer ? As it is applying 'Main Sail' bonus (in this meaning a square sail).
  15. Simply: More Outposts available (10 to 16). Currently it is highly limited: - One for Capital - One for Clan Outpost (if it's outside Capital) - often they are placed near rare resources (Mahogany/Live Oak) or at Regions with certain Trims - Three for crafting of high demand materials (buildings: silver, copper, mahogany, bermuda cedar etc..) or crafting ships (outpost needed in specific region for a Trim) Which leaves only 3 Outposts free for handling transports, PvP (free ports like La Navasse, Las Tortugas, La Desirade) or RvR (to hold ships needed for Port Battles near 'contested' ports) - which sadly is not enough to have fun cause either you wan't to have more options for crafting of materials / ships or more options for PvP and RvR - you can't have both.
  16. Does 'Jib Sail' type that are on Cutter, Lynx, Privateer count as Main Sail or Jib Sail as for Regional Bonuses ? for example: Close Hauled / Pirate Refit Bonus - which of them would apply?

This game really needs in-game notification system, to provide brief note about recent Updates/Hotfixes applied, many many times i have seen people completely confused on what have changed (as they noticed some steam update on launching the game). At this point communication suck, cause it's extremely hard to locate necessary information on the forums. The perfect example would be 'World of Tanks' Launcher - all information and links packed into small nicely formated gui. Additionally you could add simple voting system (thumbs up/down) for each change done (each hotfix/update having own page with list of changes) so you could receive instant feedback.
  19. 1. Incoming Private Chat sound indicator - sometimes it's hard to see someone replied to private chat or even started one. 2. Ability to use the bell in battle very rapidly (to avoid being rammed by friendly players) - currently it's just useless feature.
  20. Please read: We need more missions that mix PvE with PvP - basicly done in enemy regions or at the "border" line. Currently there are only few options to do when at OW (not including Port Battles which are limited to certain scheduled time/date): - AI killing missions - Trader hunting - PvP Ganking Your mission proposals focus only on PvE, but some of them are very good.
  21. Yeah, good idea... there would be people sailing to Port where there will be PB, attack some AI ship next to port and wait in Battle Screen for the PB start. The same for sailing in Battle next to port while battle is over, jumping out and immediately joining PB.

It would be nice to have some missions that have more interaction with existing Open Waters area, before Port Battle changes there was more interaction between players as Capture flags had to be delivered to port, which in most situations caused people to gather either in attack or in defence. ### Rowboat Missions Providing that most ships in game setting period had atleast one rowboat it is possible to create entirely new system of missions: 1. Mission to send/collect spies, information, trinkets/treasure hunt, etc.. from/to exact map location. Available for ships from 1-5 class (to prevent usage of expendable ships or situation someone uses Trader Lynx that is extremely hard to catch). 2. New Open Waters button that would 'Release Rowboat' which would drop rowboat at sea and it would sail towards nearest shore line. When rowboat is released button changes to 'Recall Rowboat'. 3. After reaching shore a popup window appear with mission information / options. 4. If the Rowboat is left behind (circle arround ship) portion of the crew is lost, and new Rowboat needs to be collected from a friendly port. ### Sample missions: - Collect Trade Intelligence - if deployed and finished (destination near some enemy port) it spawns 'Trader Fleet' that will move only between two ports (vanishes at destination port). After completing mission you receive information about it's route. Such mission would require more interaction in enemy territory and would resolve complaints from players that at times there are too few Trader Ships sailing arround OW. - Collect Fleet Intelligence - if deployed and finished (destination near some enemy port) player receives 'Map Coordinates', 'Compass Heading' and 'Ship Class' (1-7) of nearest (currently in OW) player of any Nation in which they are at War with. Such mission would increase player interactions and allow PvP hunting in areas which are less frequently visited (so it is rare to find enemy players head on in OW). - Spy Mission - when taking this mission you select a port (regional capital) which will be missions destination, when missions is deployed timer start (length based on distance calculated to destination), spy needs to be delivered using rowboat to destination port, if done within time limit Regions Hostility (5-10%?) is raised by some level, and the player receives Gold reward. To prevent abuse and instant hostility bombs only one Spy Mission can be active at a time for the Region. In addition every player of nation that owns the Region receive notification (same as Port Battle start/end) that succesfull Spy Mission have been finished at a Region - which would attract attention, and the ship that performed the mission could be intercepted on the way back. - Raid Mission - when taking this mission you select a port (only nations at War) which will be missions destination, that port needs to be raided using rowboat, if finished rowboat returns with some of the materials the destination port Produces. In addition every player of nation that owns the port receive notification (same as Port Battle start/end) that succesfull Raid Mission have been finished at a Region - which would attract attention, and the ship that performed the mission could be intercepted on the way back. - Retrieve Captured Officer - if deployed you receive location of an officer that go imprisoned by enemy nation at War, destination is set at one of the Region capital Forts, officer needs to freed using rowboat. When rowboat returns player receives an item 'Escaped Officer' that needs to be delivered to any own nations port, at which Gold reward is issued. In addition every player of nation that owns the port (Fort) receive notification (same as Port Battle start/end) that succesfull Retrieve Captured Officer Mission have been finished at a Region - which would attract attention, and the ship that performed the mission could be intercepted on the way back, the item 'Escaped Officer' could then be recaptured again and provide Gold reaward (but smaller than original mission owner if he would succed) at a friendly port. To prevent constant spam for every player in the Nation the range of notification could be limited to players in certain range or currently in affected / neigbour Regions.
  23. Simply BR calculation included into maximum Morale level, plus some variance based on ships sunk/escaped/captured (boarded)/surrendered. I have updated my OP with little bit more detail and your suggestions.
  24. It's just an Suggestion. Basicly right now it is possible for Exactly that's the point of my suggestion. Some battles (massacres) are just pointless when someone does not want to surrender. It's illogical and not historically accurate.
