    Perk for Fleets provides unfair advantages

    This has nothing to do with perks, you are confusing them with upgrades and skill books. Generally people have the fleet perk because it can be better to capture a ship instead of sinking it. Get some boarding upgrades and books if your worried about boarding. Perks won't help you. Or learn how to board...
  2. The game isn't complete and there's plenty other games that are, that's all it is. Some enjoyed the game when it originally launched but plenty left by the time of the first wipe. The grind drove people away but early access drives even more away. Some don't enjoy the drastic swings or seeing how the sausage is made. Assume USA players also joined the USA nation then that's another issue entirely... To explain the USA, it has leadership and culture problems. It's a nation of role players and full of people that barely understand the game. There's some good players in the mix but their experiences get ruined by the majority and sometimes those good players leave and go to other nations. There are ones that stay because they love "Mercia" but that's an excuse. Ignorance in short is the USA's problem. It's simply one of the worst nations in the game.

    Pvp Rewards

    Battle rewards, not ship loot. The loot table isn't that forgiving 100% of the time so lets be honest your PVP encounters are biased. PVP has been discouraged with the new system. The return on investment is far too low. I have no problem with looting ships but when you get 1-8 doubloons for a battle reward then combine that with what drops from the ships and it ends up being no larger than 1,500 doubloons its not enough. Divide that reward by 6 based on the assists and kills in the group and you have 250 doubloons for 2-3 hours of work and risk. Its fundamentally flawed. This all happened in this battle:
  5. Are people seeing odd issues with the respawing of goods in ports? It seems less frequent.
  6. @admin @Ink Another bug with the chest, it limits you to only 10,000 doubloons.
  7. @admin Doubloon rewards for PVP/Battle kills seem to be still based on the old pvp rewards scale, will these be adjusted like the patrol zone payouts?

    Port Battle bug?

    Its not about it being a server crash issue... the outcomes of this bug were similar. Therefore something needs to be done so this similar issue has a proper resolution system rather than what we experienced. You really are being very defensive for nothing and seem to be missing my point in getting the details right. Like i said I don't care about that port if we did it would of had a timer.

    You say its not possible but its what happened. No need to debate it. We had one player in the pb today. What we assume happened is the port was flipped automatically because of the bug yesterday, correct me if im wrong Ink didnt this happen once before? To be clear I don't care about the port, this is about getting the right details to the devs so they can fix the issues. I'm not debating you won the first port battle but a second port battle did happen today and there's nothing to gain in debating that.

    Well there was another PB set today... did you guys not notice? Just wondering because we made sure to have someone there I'm not trying to prove a lie its what happened. Admin will be able to see we had 1 player in that PB.

    2 PBS, one yesterday and today. Yes, it wasn't during the maintenance because we showed up to this one. Honestly at this point you guys can just take Issacs if you really want a port, we dropped it because we didn't want it. Oh and there's a few theories about why you went after la des. Looks at marsh.

    Attack a 25 ship fleet, you'll be happy you did. Have you tried an epic? I guess not since you ignored that...

    People complain about pay2win and this is a perfect example of that. What's next a book dlc because its too hard to find all the books? Have you tried to attack a large open world fleets or checked out an epic? The rewards are pretty great and the bonus is the XP. Some people are just playing this game wrong.
  17. What Lenin did is a great skill. I've done it a few times in shallow battles, just 2 ships however and had each setup on its own display. It is not a task for the weak, the fact that he's able to do it with such little screen space is amazing.
  18. You call me fool yet dismiss the points I presented. OK lol. That post went off the rails for a few reasons but too much emotion was the main, and lets be honest I really wonder how intoxicated some people are when they post. Plenty have done it. Your making an assumption right there. They play the game and get doubloons. By the time they need to teleport around you don't think they will have enough? A new player will be more concerned with leveling up. You can have concerns about the change but you base your concerns on assuming one will have a hard time. I started a completely fresh character on test bed. I didn't receive the handouts everyone else did because I jumped onto the testbed before it officially was announced. So far it hasn't been a problem and from what admin says it will only become easier. Like paying for crew. Adding costs to teleports doesn't stop someone from advancing, should ships be free since its a struggle to build and collect all that is needed? The burden of proof is in your hands, you go try. I'll ask again, why is a new player teleporting so much? A poor little midshipman that should be focused on the tutorials, basic crafting and missions.

  20. I would bet because most of that topic was irrational complaints. To continue the discussion... You make two assumptions: That doubloons will not be abundant That all new players need to teleport Admin has stated that the returns for missions are not what they will be, that doubloons will be found even on npc ships and player ships (since they need to take them back to port to put them in their chest) will be carrying them as well. I think its clear getting doubloons won't be an issue. Why are new players teleporting? When they start out they have nothing therefore must build up their rank and their supply anyway. @admin Will the tutorial rewards include doubloons? Have these devs made some bad changes in the past? Yes but this doesn't even come close. TP charges remind me of the name/chat changes, we don't love them but it ended up working out just fine possibly reduced trolling.

    Teleport costs are fine as long as they are balanced. I've added feedback before your quip... My point was why take someone seriously that uttered that quote. He enjoys posting here more than playing the game.

    Balloon rides between ports seems to be the best route. Make the ride take a few minutes to arrive. Build it like WoW designed their flight paths so you fly through the world. It would be a waste if this was just used on the drone...
