  1. Clan shipbuilders end up sitting with the majority of their dockspace taken up by ships that are for other clan members. I'd love to see some expandable dockspace from 5 slots to 20. Maybe the ability for members with clan warehouse access to assign ships to other members so they can freely take out those ships at their convenience.
  2. Some very good suggestions here. I can't count the number of times players have left their nation or the game after getting their clan warehouse wiped by some angry player that had access. Would be nice to have officers without access to the warehouse.
  3. Gotta make stuff harder. Always be stugglin.
  4. Very well received, but you'll have to clue me in as to who the other strong personality is
  5. That's a lot of confession. I have soo many confessions to make if it's per account. I make up 1/4 of the pop on global at 8pm PST. I am 50% of the defense force for George Town last time you came. I definitely don't have a guy in every single major clan on global. 10 Hail Mary's. Am I cool with god now?
  6. I think of ego as being earned and we've earned it. Question is what nation realizes we're reactive killers and breaks the cycle. Everyone on global knows this but thinks they can get away with it in at a certain time or with enough screeners. We have 40 of the most dedicated guys on group text. Nothing slips by us. Only gives us more content
  7. It's gotta be BLACK. 93% win rate in contested pb's. We'd shit on any of those PvP1 clans. After global was formed several PvP1 clans thought the top PvP2 clan would be crap compared to them. All were put in there place. BLACK is #1 when it comes to rvr.
  8. I'm about to slap you back to reality Norfolk. We's about to have a reset here. That means a do over for Nats. Work on getting your peeps in line so we don't have to paint it black.
  9. Better question. Are we done with the stupid slot unlocks or not?
  10. Spent a lot of time thinking this through awhile ago and this is what I came up with.
  11. I hated the tp to port after along with combat logging. I also don't like the current 30 sec invis plus super speed. Although I get it. It's basically an artificial mechanic help contend with the the OW speed. Also good to avoid being pulled into battle repeatedly. But it is abused way too much with counter tags and tagging AI fleets. A lone hunter can keep a group of a dozen guys occupied for hours and get away after killing a trader in visual range of your capital port. The biggest problem is the RoE. A player slightly out of a circle needs to turn around and enter farther behind slower pursuers. A player with a nation port in view might not receive aid in time even with those 12 guys sitting right there unable to enter and help him. Tag circle is fine, but give another bigger circle that all players around have a choice of joining. I mean huge like draw distance. Even give players outside of it the ability to join during the whole battle. The edge would take about an hour of sailing in battle instance to make it to the middle anyways. Split the circle in half between the tagged/tagger and joiners have to join on the edge of their half. Perhaps a special little join circle right in front of a national port that members of that nation can join from. All that and I'd be happy to keep invis/super speed. Hell even make it longer. Although no super speed of of AI's or counter tags.
  12. I do on the other hand think the guy that got jumped should get some rewards if he took it like a man and fought his ass off. I'm a proponent for a system that gives rewards based on BR difference and skill level. Skill level is tough to measure, but if a no name can defeat a pvp legend in equal ships he should get a waterfall of rewards.
  13. Not when it comes to lopsided battles like. Should have some pathetic reward like 50g and 10xp split 6 ways to at least show that rewards could exist.
  14. Are you really asking for rewards on a 6v1?
  15. Sure. Let's say 1/2 the chance of the winner. Let's even say if their was more of them with a higher BR you could stand a greater chance of getting that book than them. I'm not a proponent of loser gets nothing. I do think winner should get more. I don't think fights should be fair in NA, but I do think systems should reward more for them. I also worry about systems that allow exploits. I love how sandbox this game is. I know there hasn't been a MMO that is a full on sandbox, but my favorites have always had many sand box elements. I like MMO's that offer as much uniqueness as possible, the ability to be famous, and a feeling of loss to your opponent. If this game had a higher population and content I could see being a good thing, but it doesn't. Players do everything right now and still don't enjoy the game. If they were limited even more into choosing to be fighters, hunters, crafters, or merchants I just don't see that helping the situation. The problems I see now is we are being herded into pve and the game's turned into a huge boring time sink.
  16. To me having to choose a role limits you a lot. Currently your ship/mod/perk setup defines your role. You can swap that up at anytime. If I need to go to a 1st rate port battle I want a Santi focusing on armor thickness/hp, reload, and repair. After that's done I want to make a trade run so I'll need an Indiaman focusing on speed with more Indiaman's in fleet. Then it's time to solo hunt traders using a Surprise focusing on speed and boarding. After pissing off another player he challenges me to a 4th rate duel and I want to fight him in Wapen focusing on turning and armor thickness. Maybe some other clan mates want to go OW pvp against a group of heavy hitters and I want to come in a Buc focusing on boarding and speed. I like the freedom of choice without being cornered into a dedicated role. I like the perk system, but I wish there was more variety of perks available. We've taken several steps back since that system was introduced. Players crave fame and being unique. Anything that helps that happen is a good change and anything else is a step in the wrong direction. There is no empowering the victor. Books being available in shop and through pvp would just be other means to get them instead of forcing us to pve to get them. And no offense but you don't have to link other quotes and topics in every single post. Unless you're just doing it to get under people's skin. In that case working as intended.
  17. My problem is the rarity. The more bonuses the better to separate your ship from others and help make you more unique. Would be nice to have them available on the shop and through pvp. It's just something else that keeps you from being viable in pvp. Same with the slot unlock system.
  18. Ah. That makes more sense, but it wasn't that clear in Admin's statement. Rumor going around on pvp2 was they were using programs that sent false damage numbers back to the server. Either way it kinda reinforces why they took it out in the first place. Sucks when a pvp fight is the other guy finally deciding to run for it after you've blown through a few repairs and both of you end up with nothing.
  19. 100-150k damage on one ship is impossible. Read what admin said on damage farming being ok. But thanks for saying I'm new, how easy it was to find that thread, and how you thought players were simply damage farming. I just lurked the forums at that time without an account. Bought the game when it first went on steam. I'm about to have myself a Snickers as well while my phone charges.
  20. I'm sorry. Are you still talking to me? Try using quotes like experienced forum users would. Maybe try rereading what I said. And reread that post while you're at it. The accused were reset from more damage than possible. From what I'd heard it was from using an outside program.
  21. Pretty sure that never happened. A few people were reset for using outside programs that sent impossible to achieve damage amounts that netted a lot of money, but tons of people were doing it normally and getting away with it. I said the same thing earlier in this post. Also if the target dies you'll most likely get an assist. The problem is when they don't die. In regards to do for slots hopefully they get rid of it completely. It's killing the game for me.
  22. Pennants and flags sound great. I was looking for more stuff to throw in to my notoriety/xp system which I'm about to regurgitate.
