  1. go into a cutter, set sail to 20%, set a direction to the other end of the map, use a "makro" or whatever that u won't get disconnect and then go afk for hours. Welcome to afk fishing 2.0. not really a good idea since it can easily exploided

  3. yeah and during the prime time there are only around ~800 online on pvp1 because of that . Drop by 1/3 (1 week ago around ~1000, 2 weeks ago around ~1200)
  4. the players won't play the game like u want they play. If they have to spend more time for dip shit which isn't fun, they won't play. Less player = less traffice = less PvP. U saw that mechanic several time now and u still believe that behavior will change ? If you want that such a mechanic will work, reduce the time which is needed for sailing

  7. Not agree. If a nation lose alot of players to another nation, most of the time the community of that nation is to blame that people want to swap.
  8. If a ship is transfered to an outpost, use the time which is needed to drive from the current position to the outpost with around 15 knt. that should solve that behavior.
  9. Yep, don't let the flag carrier able to attack an as smuggler flaged palyer. it's an easy way to exploid the smuggler mechanic and to "hide" the own flag. Or lets say, a smuggler should be unflagged directly if he is to near a port battle map. Even if the flag carrier is not attacking the smuggler someone else of the port battle fleet could do it. The smuggler should turn directly in a normal Player and have to go to a port again to be a smuggler again Disable surrender if for ships which have leaks or are going to sink (will disable kill "stealing" or at least the ship can be captured then)

  12. no, with the current systems all battles are done within a range of 250 because of the penetration model. I dont care about lock/unlock focus or what ever. The range where the dev want us to fight is what I mean
  13. increase your own defined standard attack range from 250 meter to 500 and increase penetration then everything is fine

  16. ganking possibilty and players which fit got in groups has a higher disadvantage not true, reinforcments available for 2 min, so it stay as in your "linger timer" Statement it made everything more boring and save for carebears since they can help for ages
  17. The Battle timer is to Long. If they hide in a Port/battle Screen they are still able to gank you. Since invis and invu is around 60 seconds the battle timer should only be 60 s. Ist quite easy to join a battle if you are in a Group and if you get attack near a port and no one want to help you within 2 minutes you Nation are those to blame. If you are to far away/behin your Group so they can't help you, you are the one to blame

  19. A List of Ports which can't hole a 3rd rate or higher anymore would be quite nice. then you can move your ships to other ports
  20. compass Wood lvl3 x 5 = 500k earning each day, after 8 days u can buy a Pavel MC. So it's quite easy even for solo players
  21. Make Crew "craftable". I would build a "House of Pleasure"/"brothel" which generate 24 crew each day. A crew "gathering" will cost 5k Gold and can be sold for 15k in ports which consumes it. (that Suggestion is only a joke.....) Honestly, don't mess with mechanic where your player will lose to much time. We already spend a ridiculous amount of time with sailing from A to B. Look at your stastics how many battle time you have compared to online time of your playerbase. If you want to increase the cost of ships, make it the easy way. If some buy a consti for 900k, he has to pay to the "Nation" for each crew member, I dunno, 1k gold (?). With that u would reduce the amount of Gold which is in the game and the ships will be cost more.
  22. you won't lose Crew. so a frig is only a real 4 dura ship, a consti only 3 dura ship and so on that doesn'T really matter, the only goal which can be reached with that implementation is that the Player has to spend much more time on OW for traveling which is currently already a big Problem. Edith: you had to go into diffrent ports to get your full Crew back, that's what is planned here. But with a "Map" which is much "bigger". so again, you spend to much time for stupid things which doesn'T even have something to do with fun or Action.
  23. Ok, I will be straight. Do you want to make a game that is fun to Play or is your Goal to make a game that someone has to sail (and do nothing) for several ours? Now I'll explain my question. IF you make that Change, what you proposed here, you will have no real oppertunity to have fun within the game since currently you have to travel nearly 50% of your time and do nothing. with that Change you increase that time to more than 80%. Here a example. you made an outpost in a free habor near an enemy and have some ships there (Basic which are port there, or some other wie "send to outpost"). Then you port to that habour to make some PvP. You go into your first battle, los your ship and more than 50% of your Crew is gone (or maybe all) Then you sitting in that stupid habour and can'T do anything anymore. So you have to buy a cutter and drive home to the nearest port of your Nation and hope that you can refill your Crew. you'll find no Crew there, so you drive to the next, there is still nothing (yeah, ist near a combat Zone) and so on. So for one fight (30 min) you need more than 2 hours to refill your Crew to make the enxt fight. If your Goal is that your playerbase should die because they are bored like hell, that's the way to go. But you could also disable every teleport possibility, that would increase the waste of time for every player. they will travel for 5-6h for a fight and refill. Naval ACTION would then be only Naval sailing. What you could do is following. If you lose Crew, the Crew is lost and will only be refilled if you go to a habour. In a habour of your Nation you will pay 100% for one Crew (define your price), in a antoher Nation habour (allied) you pay 150% and in a free habour you pay 200%. But the crew can be refilled every time, as Long as you have Money. Antoher Option. Look at Potbs. you can buy crew in any habour (or was it only where you have an outpost?), make OW Speed faster that you need max 2h to drive from east of the map to the west. It doesnt matter if it's realsitic. Most of the played time in NA is driving on OW and that is boring, since driving on OW doesnt have anything to do with "ACTION"
  24. The servers are for all countries. You won't find a time frame which is suitable for every player(nation/country/.... maybe an "unrest" system could be implemented (like in potbs). If enough "unrest" ist generated, sinking of AI fleets/players, near a port (e.g. spain port -> kill AI spains or kill spain players) can overrule the timer. But then again -> smaller nations will have a hugh disadvanteage How should that be changable? Sure it sucks to lose time because you don't want to lose a port, but it's your decision to defend or going for hunting or do carebear stuff. So choose what you want to do Yeah they are boring but part of the game. If you want to play with a friend and he tells u "no, I don't want to play with you" you are also alone and its boring or you have to look for another thing to do I get your point, but I think it's a valid tactic to try to make as much damage on your enemy as possible, even if you are on fire. And if you are on fire and want to get away from the enemy, you won't have the chance to do that anymore. no. Those players have already the advantage that they can do mission whoring, get many gold&xp and can buy labour hours of players which will do the gathering of ressources or crafting of materials.
