Also, is there any region information anywhere to that I can add this to my maps? Like the x, y location of the region label for example.... -

So in the ports api file I can see which region a port is in and what buildings (forts and towers) it has. That's nice info, but I see no way of knowing what the hostility around the port is - which i'd like to be able to show - but I'm guessing that's maybe too real-time? I'm assuming that once 100% hostility is reached that the conquest info will show up and I'll guess I'll have to wait until restart to see what that will look like.... -

Was wondering what information will be added to / removed from the api when the new patch arrives. Particulary information around port capture and hostility. Are you able to tell us anything to help us be ready to develop tools for the NA community? -
US server connection issue
woodenfish replied to Ink's topic in News Announcements & Important discussions
I played on pvp2 from Europe for months without issue. Why would it be so bad the other way round? I don't really care if the two servers get merged or not. It would be nice to be able to transfer my stuff from pvp2 to pvp1. In the end I doubt they will merge until after the game goes live. They will hope to get a load of new players, just like happened when the game went into early access, requiring multiple pvp servers. -
Steam authentication issue
woodenfish replied to Ink's topic in News Announcements & Important discussions
I don't think Steam is up at the moment. Even when you get to the front of the queue you just get a Steam authentication error. The Steam status website is also showing many errors...https://steamstat.us/ -

PVP One EU server connection issue

It works like this: If you were sailing around on pvp1 when it went down then you can log into pvp2 or pve. If not you can't. You have to have had a charachter on these servers to log into - your pvp1 charachter doesn't just magically appear there. If you create a new charachter you will begin as a midshipman with a bit of gold and a basic cutter. Your pvp1 charachter will be unaffected. Locking and unlocking means that there is a central database which holds the progress of your charachters on each server - XP, crafting XP. These need to be updated when you do something on each of the servers. If you are not playing, then this connection is 'locked'. -

Sorry Capt Blackthorne, but that information is not in the api, so we don't know it either. We can only know how many ports each country has got. I'm guessing that's market sensitive info for the devs. -

It's the Norton internet security plugin in chrome that's giving me the warning. If I drill down further into the info it's giving it's talking about the fact that you are redirected from the domain name given to another site which 'is known to host malicious downloads'. Are you hosting on some kind of shared webspace? It's probably someone else that is causing the problem, but I thought I'd give you the head's up. This is a link to the info I get (In Dutch I'm afraid...unless it works out the language from your computer settings) https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=http:%2F%2Fmap.licornes.eu%2F&product=NSBU&version=22.6.0.142〈=1301&source=toolbar -

I'm afraid you are coming up as a 'dangerous website' in my Internet Security. There are 'Drive By Downloads' on your site according to it. You might want to take a look at what might be causing that...? -

Yes...but the point is that if a product doesn't turn up in the key 'regular items', (It doesn't if there are 0 of it), then, yes, I know it's produced or more importantly consumed, but I have no price, so I can't tell my tool user what he could potentially earn by selling at this port. -

Public "API" for Naval Action

If I am understanding it correctly a resource that has nothing in either the sell or buy. (there is none of that resource in the port). does not show up in the api. That means if the port is a resource sell that information is also lost to the api. An example. I know the port of Les Cayes is an iron ore sell, but that fact does not show up on the pvp2 api, because there is no iron ore in the port. If I make a tool which says, I have a resource, where can I sell it?, then I get incorrect information from the api, because some of the sell ports are not visible. Is it possible to do something about this? -

Thanks for the confirmation. Are we allowed to know by how much per note? -

I'd be very grateful for any help: There is a big discussion ongoing about the chance of getting particular BP's, (Ingermanland seems to be the one everyone wants) and also the influence the crafting level of the crafter and the number of crafting notes used would make. It seems as though more note increase the chance, but I don't see anything in the api to confirm this. Is this the case? and if so, by how much? The same question for the level of the crafter. Does this make a difference? If so, how much? I think I see the chance for each BP drop in the api, please let me know if I am missreading.
