On PvE server, members of groups I've been in, both as owner and member, never join when in the circle.
-
How are you doing this, if I may ask? I'd like to do the same for the Peace server if it's possible. I'm a web developer by trade, so I can understand the technical parts of the process, I hope.
-
Maybe make them % heavier, slowing your speed down?
-
I use the ~ key (depending upon your keyboard layout) to the left of the 1 key.

Am I missing something - or is this a Swedish account which appears to be able to view GB nation chat? I'm confused.
-
I'm guessing:
First it picks an item from the list at random
- if that is Catfish, Needlefish or salt, then you get one
- otherwise you get the % chance to get one

Numbers only make it hard to get inside offensive PBs. Once that obstacle is overcome it is a matter of skill and fleet composition. And GB does have a decent chance against REDS there. Both have fought each other before both lost some both won some. We'll see^^
GB and VP helped DK screen against Russia recently. I'm sure we can figure something outIn a one off battle you might be right, but in a war Russia will always win for exactly the reason they took Bluefields. They can always recover quicker. It's baked into the game now and that's the point. There is nothing that balances you getting bigger and more powerful.
-
Yes, but that is exactly the point. There is literally no way GB alone can ever beat Russia if they continue to be aggressive. So then you have to have alies, but there is no mechanic in the game to do that. The imbalance is already set in stone with one side always able to do things faster and better than the other. Russia can now kerb stomp every other nation out of the game if they choose to

So Portobello, Bridgetown and Basse-Terre...

To do this you'd have to have a list of attackable ports per port in the api, then you could cross reference who the owning country was, but I don't remember there being a list of attackable ports in the ports api file...

Middelburgsche Commercie Compagnie [MCC]
A Dutch trading company that is involved in the slave trade.
Â
The archive of this comapny still exists and is held in the Zeeuws archive in Middelburg.
It is on the World Heritage List. It made all it's moeny from the slave trade.
Don't know if you knew/care

No. It makes the problem worse. It means everyone with an alt can get cheap permits and those without one can't. At least with a population measure the more alts the less benefit...but the basic problem is why it will not happen I guess.

Which timezone do you play in? And also for which nation?

Thank you all for your comments. I did as suggested and skipped the tutorials. But even so, I just get raped by everyone I fight. I am trying missions in my starter ship and even lynx traders utterly destroy me without me denting them much at all...
Â
I ask again, what am I doing wrong?
I wonder two things...what server are you playing on? Maybe we can arrange someone to come and to a battle with you to help explain things.
Also what guns do you have on your ship? If you have medium guns, then you need to get close to your enemy in order for them to do much damage.
-
I may well be wrong, but I always thought id didn't matter what guns you put on a fleet ship, it was always fitted with mediums, at least in the past it was like that. Maybe they have changed it now, would be nice to hear from the devs or someone more in the know.

I think Bull Hull is Donald Trump, or he has been reading too much of his Twitter feed

if ships are capped at 15knots, that's 27.78km/h.
So in an hour and a half you can only travel 41.67km in any one direction, so battle instance doesn't have to be all that big.

I think the frigate class was the most balanced. In my clan we had people who loved the Trinc, but others hated it's heal and loved the Essex. I didn't like the heal and had to have bow chasers, so my favourite was the frigate. The point was no ship could do everything. Which your favourite was, depended upon how you liked to sail. That's how it should be. If one ship can do much more than any other in it's class, then it's always going to become the ship of choice.

We first assumed our BR was too high - but then why would you be able to join afterwards via the normal circles? After that we just assumed it was a 'feature' on the PvE server 😉
