  1. Merging PvP2 into PvP1 may cause lots of problems for Australian/Asian players... its about a 100 jump in ping and I've heard pack loss and lag spikes become a problem too (Haven't made a PvP1 account yet but will do before any merge to see for myself I guess). If there is a way to be playing on PvP1 but actually using a USA based server I would be more than happy with a merge, but I'm rather skeptical at the moment.
  2. YES YES YES PLEASE !! With the phasing in of the player only production/economy this will be an important feature, otherwise a lot of time will be wasted sitting in ports and organizing inter-clan trading. Here's my two cents on how it might work... Clan Commerce Building - A warehouse containing both currency and resource stock's. Built by the clan creator in a port of his choosing. Level 1 - $1.5 million cost / 28 Slots Level 2 - $3.0 million cost / 35 Slots Level 3 - $5.0 million cost / 50 Slots MECHANICS - Clan creator builds, owns and controls who has access by giving permissions to clan members. - Only Clan Creator and "Treasurer" has full access to currency stored within. - When clan members deposit goods into the warehouse, they are automatically paid for the goods. The amount they are paid is set by the Clan Creator/Treasurer and comes from the gold held in the building. If there is not enough gold in the building, the deposit is refused. - When clan members withdraw goods from the building, they have to pay for them. The gold they pay go's into the buildings gold stock. The price they pay is set by the Clan Creator/Treasurer. ACCESS LEVELS Level 1 access "Producer" - Can deposit goods/gold into warehouse but not withdraw. Level 2 access "Trader" - Can deposit and withdraw goods, can only deposit gold. Level 3 access "Crafter" - Can deposit and withdraw goods, can only deposit gold. Can receive a discount on prices paid for withdrawing goods. Level 4 access "Master Craftsman" - Can deposit/withdraw goods and a set daily limit of gold. Can receive a discount on prices paid for withdrawing goods. Level 5 access "Treasurer" - All levels of access with no limits and doesnt have to pay to withdraw goods (but doesnt get paid to deposit goods either) Clan creator has all levels of access and also sets the permissions for each clan member. Prices paid for depositing/withdrawing goods: This can be made easy, with the default prices the same as what they are set for the resource production buildings. The Clan Creator and Treasurer can then have a slider bar which either adds or subtracts more or less gold in a percentage format. For example, Iron Ore is a base price of 74 and can be made to cost up to 100% more or less by using a slider bar. The same system is used to give a discount to those who have "Master Crafter" level of access. The fact that clan members have to pay to remove goods from the warehouse and have limited access to the gold stored within will prevent "rouge" members from stealing everything and then quitting the clan to join another or swapping nations. If clan creators/treasurers do this, well thats unfortunate but there is nothing that can really be done about it. Love to hear your thoughts about this idea peoples !
