First off, ain't NA built on Unity? Then we could Point to "From the Depths" by "Brilliant Skies" - they have pretty nice water. But i do not really think that it is better, it looks really bad from the distance. ATLAS/ARK is a totally different animal, ATLAS itself is a really badly executed MOD of ARK, lot of false advertising also. I totally understand @admin's reaction, NA is on a totally different level, i would advise not to take ATLAS in again as comparison.

I would tend to wait until the Herc balancing is finished rather then starting to request all other ships to be buffed. Balance besides the DLC ships aint too bad....

Nice WOW effect, but i voted NO. We had battles in storm, they were pretty boring because killing someone is not really possible. 90 minutes of sailing around, getting lost, shooting waves, there is a reason why it was taken out. Historically i would say no navy would have attacked a harbour in a storm..... Default win for the defender - attacker will not be able to generate points, neither by kills nor forts bombardement. Erm, just seen that no big waves are possible, in that case, ignore the above.

There is a record i guess happened at Rosaly PB yesterday. A PB Buccentaure going from pristine condition to no armor at all and sinking in only 1 minute 26 seconds. That is noteworthy! Guess our focus fire improves.

It would be better to try to get the admin to shorten the battle instances. Ingame breaks are a really bad idea, many do not want to make a break on command, myself included. I arrange and do my brakes when i want them. Btw, these 90 minutes are quite long, i agree, especially if you command fleets. -> It might be a good idea to shorten OW battles to 75 or even 60 minutes and leave the PB's / Battlegroup fights on 90 minutes. ---------------------------------------- Es wäre besser den Admin zu bitten die Kampfdauer zu verkürzen. Pause im Spiel ist eine schlechte Idee, viele wollen nicht eine Pause auf Kommando machen, mich eingeschlossen. Ich arrangiere und mache meine Pausen wie ich diese haben will. Tried to update my GFX Drivers on the GTX780 (sorry was no GTX840, my error) that failed, for reasons unknown, because after update i was on VGA and could not read the NVIDIA error message anymore (fail, fail, fail). That made me reinstall my old GTX970 (on which the coolers dont work and the card has a torsion of about 20 degrees) and it is running fine. It is very well possible that my issues rooted in the fact that we took my beloved Win7 64bit drive and put it into an other PC. Mainboard, CPU, GFX were all different from my old PC, but it was fun to rape windows that way. Now testing some battle instances with the GTX970.

Many thanks for your feedback, i will try that as soon i have the time (Saturday latest). Will also test other Unity games in the process.

Anybody else having this today? Win7 64bit, Intel I7, GTX840 Display driver crashed about 20 times tonight. Game ran fine the week before, and no my hardware is not overheating. Will test tomorrow again.

How much do we, the players, care about others abusing the system to get more PvP marks? I do not care about players with 10 alts and 100 billions of gold. Why should i then care about players with 10 alts and 10k PvP marks? Why should i let them spoil MY FUN by degrading core features of my beloved game? These are questions you should ask yourself. Open up PvP damage payout, the good part will outweight the bad part.

OP is correct with his assement. Don't listen to those nay sayers, they are not knowing what we know about good fights. Proposal will desalt play, be less unvorgiving to learning players and at least there is a sence to be ganked outside combat zone. A good change, OW PvP will get more enjoyable for all players.

Started with 5 years on an Optimist, sailed large range of Jolles (Askeladen, E-Jolle, 420, Lazer etc) and Catamarans in my youth up to now. Did three diplomas on Jolle (E-Jolle and 420) racing in the North Atlantic in Gothenborg Sweden (GKSS). Sailed multiweek turns with Yachts in Denmark, Greece and Florida & Keys, sizing from 18 to 36 foot. Normally sailing each year, but in the last 5 years it was hard due to financials.

Please leave it as is, it is hard enough to find OW PvP. Furthermore, it is the only info we get about how PB's are going generally.

May i inquire what the status of this initiative currently is?
