This seems like a conversation that is in need of its own thread and not the Great Battle Results. Surprise vs. a Herc, I do not care what mods you have on it. What I think matters is the guns. These mediums majority of us are using currently while we build up enough of a stockpile of carros and longs makes such a huge aggravating difference. If both ships were armed with Mediums I would take the Herc. But if armed with Carros I feel more comfortable in the Surprise. Took a vanilla carro Surprise once or twice in battles against a Herc while I had no mods on and only a few book slots and was dominant.

The discouragement that some of you bring with your distaste towards the game is disturbing. No one is keeping you here or demanding you return to play something that obviously frustrates or find no enjoyment in. People that still enjoy the game are fully aware there are issues. However, they are not beating the monotone drum attempting to deter others and create displeasure.

You should probably hold off till a few weeks into release for the population to settle in. That way you do not have a few nations without a moderator to maintain some order in nation chat on occasion rather than just global and help channels.

From what I recall yes. Although I feel like they should hold off the wipe and "full release" for another 2 weeks till the steam sale is up and running on the 25th. Use that as a major marketing and jumping off point for the "full release" to introduce the game to a larger audience at a more economically appealing price. This game will be a tough sale otherwise without a sale price to start off with. Not because of children crying through their reviews or how obscure this game is. Instead, mainly do to the fact that this game is very broad and lacks definitive non-player created objects. Unless you are telling someone that it is a mix of games like Elite Dangerous and Eve, most folks would not truly understand what this game is about and avoid. Even the trailer is just a visual hype cake. No real detail on what this game is about and apart from battles, what the other aspects of the game are.

Sweden always is enjoyable having various types of clans on a scale where it is functioning as a nation. Hard to say that for a few other nations.

Love the cinematography and the soundtrack. Edited and the color usage in the typeface was well done. Only thing I would change is the typeface itself. Would have gone for a less common serif font. Maybe a readable fraktur like font.

exactly. Dont need to make the mistake of spending money carelessly again until a need arises. Focus on small additions to the game at a more gradual pace.

What time zone do you play in. Sweden, although having a slowly growing US timezone population could always use more to help it become a more well rounded nation. It has been stated though by That Great Britain is over populated. Russia is over populated. Espana tends to disappear along with the Dutch who stay in their little corner and it is looking like a portion is leaving that nation as well. Poland is a mess internally. Pirates are a viable option although I do not know what the EU timezone is like. Prussia I have no clue. Prussia may seem dead at times then would surprise you by emerging with numbers. Danmark is getting HAVOC and I think FENIX said they will follow. USA is okay. France is another option but cannot tell you much about them.
